Are you able to share the link to the offers book? Only the current one is showing up on the website. Thank you

This is hands down the worst oil I've ever had the misfortune to buy.

Ingredients: soya bean oil from genetically modified soy beans.

High consumption of soybean oil has been linked to obesity and diabetes and potentially autism, Alzheimer's disease, anxiety, and depression. Add now to this growing list ulcerative colitis, a form of inflammatory bowel disease, or IBD, characterized by chron.

Very good price for this oil but after reading this article I'm good

All food oil will cause obesity and diabetes in enough quantities.

I'm autistic and this misinformation just makes us feel unwelcome because it's so blatantly false and just shows a complete lack of understanding on what autism actually is. I didn't have some fish and chips and wake up the next day feeling a bit autistic, it's been with me since birth but it takes months/years to notice signs. Then people start to associate the signs with recent events, when it has nothing to do with the events.

As for the anxiety/depression part, because of what I said, autism creates anxiety in a lot of us which causes stress and lots of stress turns into depression. It's included in the paper simply to pad out the "potential issues" with GM oil.

I'm not forcing you to buy the oil, you are an adult. I just hope that you can dismiss the paper after hearing what an actual person with autism has to say regarding the matter. Trust me, I'd love to be able to blame this all on some poxy GM oil, but I can't because it's not the cause. (edited)

Just out of idle curiosity, can you run a diesel engine on this? (edited)

I used to run old diesels on it fine, except when it was cold. Any engine with common-rail injection is a no-no though - it's too viscous and allegedly the oil breaks down at the higher pressures used.

Just saw this in Costco yesterday but it was 7.50. The catch is that it's made from genetically modified soya so I passed.

What's the issue with GM soy?

Fill the diesel tank to 3/4 and then top up with vegetable oil. I never had any problems. Works out at less than a pound a litre.

Would you state this in an autotrader advert if you come to sell?

This is absolute crap along with all the other cheap vegetable oils in the supermarkets. All this highly refined stuff is what causes all manner if diseases and other health issues!

What about sunflower oil is that better lol?
  17. Royvedas's avatar
Usually it is sunflower, rapeseed or olive oil. This is just "vegetable oil". There must be some kind of foul play

    Decent price.
    Diesel is £1.50 a litre.
