For those wondering. Aviva Stadium, Dublin is where the football Europa league final is being hosted.

Bargain for Dublin, some fancy bars close by in the new posh hotels/office developments. Just don't stray too far west into Sheriff street late at night!

Dare I ask what happens in Dheriff Street???

How far is this from the airport?
    benjyyy's avatar
It’s about 10 mins away going through the Port tunnel. Plenty of bus services that take the same route and will can be picked up and dropped off near the 3arena

I work in the area, while its reasonably safe during the day, less so at night. Overall its great deal

These hotels are cheaper than 3 pints in Temple bar. Dublin has to be one of the most overrated cities in Europe.

It is if you are going to places like Temple Bar.

Dublin is an increasingly dangerous, dirty and expensive city these days unfortunately. A real shame that the Garda are toothless and feral teens/gangs are essentially in control.

Belfast is a better city these days IMO.

Belfast is a big town mascarading as a city. OK to visit (I live ten minutes from it) but even better to return home from.
Dublin has ongoing issues dating back decades, but it also has history and architecture and features beyond the bland chain stores that have taken over Belfast.

Great deal. I live a 5 min walk away from here and I had no idea about it

Thank you - at a concert in 3arena on 13th May and the room here is £46 which is crazy cheap for Dublin. Looked at the price for the Coldplay gig on 30th August and same hotel is £250 - might need to drive to that one!

Keane are no Coldplay is the basic answer mate (globally speaking)

I visited Dublin in 2015. I'm still paying off the Guinness I bought there.
I thought Edinburgh was an expensive rip off.

    Thanks OP.  Great deal!

Just be aware that - Docklands area has appallingly crime ridden by the young underage kids in the non school times. Lots of my non Caucasian friends have been mugged and assaulted by them.
It is a shame that the local police wash their hands off saying they are helpless and can't do much to juvenile kids (edited)

If this crime is happening outside of school hours, at least they're going to school.

We got 2 nights for 30th April to 2nd May for 59EUR per night (Olivia Rodrigo concert)

Incredible. I go to Dublin every 2/3 weeks for work and have never seen a hotel this low. Next week shows me 69euro in Temple bar... My normal hotel with the 'best' rates is 150euro...

Thanks OP - looks tempting for a May half-term short break

Regardless of the day of the week, anything around 50pn is a bargain!! Double heat!

I know this offer is for up to May but I took a look in December, for a weekend break before Christmas and it was 485 euros for 2 nights, that's insane!

I'm not getting any of these prices in Feb and May.

I paid €50 for a bed in a shared dormitory room last time I was in Dublin, this is fantastically cheap!

Thank you to the OP, I have tickets for Hamilton in November and was able to book for €48, much better than a 2.5 hour drive home at midnight! (edited to say I booked the Gloucester St Premier inn which is 10min walk from theatre, and hopefully won't be too dodgy a walk back!) (edited)
