Size of these is getting ridiculous. Only 30-50g more weight than the £2 'large' ones.

Imo I agree and not sure if people giving this heat have fully understood the maths? It's not a good deal because for say 30-50g more weight they are charging £2 xtra. If a deal was posted for a £2 Flake 50g i wonder what direction that would go? Best value is 75p morrisons small egg 77p/100g based on 98g egg. If you don't have a morrisons then the £2 egg is next best

The only difference between this size and a large one is an extra chocolate bar/creme egg/ bag of mini eggs etc.
    A total rip off!!

£1 per 100g is still my magic number. Cold

I always aimed for sum £1 per 100g but that is now super hard to find.

Sad as it may be, I always looked at the price per 100g of Cadbury products.

The large Mini Egg bags, the small Mini Eggs bags, these eggs, the Cadbury bars, all of them basically, they have all seen sizes reduce and prices increase.

    Both shrink-flation and inflation...

It's sad to see Cadbury be turned into what it is now, from what it was pre-takeover.

    It's such a shame...

Thanks for posting OP. It is appreciated, and I am sure someone will take the offer. (edited)

Exactly. This easter, I will be gifting each of my children a single organic potato. The angel did not roll the stone away from Jesus' tomb just so Mondelez could sell chocolate to infants.

    extra large (box)

£2 medium eggs are must better value. Buy two at Tesco for lots more chocolate. You're paying for cardboard.

This. Whilst sainsburys is arguably the best value for money supermarket(imo) ATM they are being very stingy with all their easter stock, the entire section in my store looks untouched because there's probably 3-4 things on nectar.

Look at the price per grammes. These companies have caught on. Calling this large and it’s only a bit more than medium is deceiving.

    As papasb said.

I’m not too bothered by how ,i h actual chocolate you get with Easter Egss, i have 3 children and buy cadburys eggs and other branded ones when they are on offer to put around the garden for an egg hunt. They are just happy with the volume of actual eggs and mini bags of sweets they can find, when they do gradually get unboxed, they don’t really notice the size, they are just happy to have such a treat. I’ll be picking a couple of these up for their big egg hunt prize at the end. thanks OP 🔥

    Extra large? In fantasy land?

I'll put my little index finger under the cashier’s chin, give it a little wiggly wig, and they will say "Terry, take two small eggs as that’s better value, thank you very much and good night." (edited)
