Nice deal 🔥 I am going to say Disney probably the same in trying to move physical media.Truth is most of the target audiences now for these type of films now stream in the main. While there may be exceptions people still buying blu ray/4K or always still amazes me DVD! are looking for different types of films.

People wanting their own collections rather than being tied into a subscription to watch films they love.

Also I've heard that good 4k discs are better than streams. And many films aren't available on streaming services.

I've got around 130 films on a digital library but I've started my own plex server now. Sick of the constant profiteering by these companies, regurgitating the same content time and again.

Are any of these films actually worth having on 4K?
    Broadsword's avatar
If you have a good system then yes. The 4k HDR on a large screen will pop and the Atmos audio on a full system will also be amazing. If you have 55" LCD TV with an argos soundbar then maybe not. (edited)

Was planning on spending money I didn't know I needed to, no Wall-E

    Yep

They're trying to get rid of their stock quickly. I'm holding as Sony may re-release them with better transfer
    mensy07's avatar
Sony will not re-release them with better transfers. You will get the same transfers in different packaging.

I know a lot of people will stream these on Disney+, but these are a steal. Some real classics there.

No ratatouille 4K on Disney+, a lot lack Atmos as well.

I'll be staggered if you can find 10 Pixar 4Ks cheaper than £50
    uklee90's avatar
I have found them cheaper! 10% red carpet discount makes is £45(popcorn)

I think Disney+ is scuppering their plans for physical media. Hot deal though, I've got 10 in my basket, shame there's no Toy Story and WallE is out of stock

I went to University with the guy whose hair became Mr Incredible's.

He worked for Pixar, and think he now works for Apple.

They did this deal before Christmas as well. Must have mountains of these clogging up a warehouse somewhere Disney’s physical media future is pretty questionable right now so this is probably the best release of these films there’ll be. Good cheap way to fill out a collection.

Great price, my only gripe is the fact it’s Zavvi. Have had varied success with them, couple of orders no issues, but a couple have been a nightmare. Some great offers on Lego before Christmas - no update for nearly 2 weeks only to be told it was out of stock after repeated attempts at communication. Refund was quite quick. But too late to get hold of Lego I originally ordered 😔
    stingersplash's avatar
I've ordered 100s of times from then and most of the time it's absolutely fine. Odd problem gets solved quickly and they give out refunds or free replacements on any slightly damaged goods and no return needed.

Bought 130 copies, will easily be worth £40-60 each Once 4k blu ray is the new vinyl

Just ordered 15 but as two separate orders, as unsure if discount would've applied for them all together e.g. £80 in the same basket. Probably could've saved on 2x delivery and I forgot to use top cashback. Is it worth cancelling the orders and doing them again?
  26. stingersplash's avatar
Absolutely insane. I remember people paying 20 quid each on release for these. They are Zavvi Exclusives but they must have gotten so much stock they keep reducing them. I got most in a 2 for £15 deal but at a fiver each you really can't argue.
    purplehat66's avatar
I got 24 of 25 titles last year for £160 on a 3 for £20 deal. Bummed that I could have gotten all 25 for less if I had waited...

The one I didn't get was Incredibles 2, as that had a 4K release previously, but it doesn't match on the shelf and has no slipcover or accompanying standard Blu-ray disc (so no extras)52267811-LSlmY.jpg
  27. purplehat66's avatar
Wait, shouldn't that bring the total down to £130?

    25 titles.
    Deal is 5 for £30 or 10 for £50.
    So that's 2x the 10 for £50 deal (£100) + 1x the 5 for £30 deal (£30)
    £100 + £30 = £130.
    Basket says £150... :/

    I think because you added 25 its counting 5 x 30.

On the fence with these if there actually worth the upgrade. Reviews for the 4K transfer for a lot of these don't seem to be mention a huge a improvement over their blu rays counterparts.
    jcmb85's avatar
Really? I watched Coco on Disney+ and it looks absolutely fantastic in 4K. Surely the HDR alone must be worth the upgrade as the colours were the main selling point to my eyes.

Thanks op. Always wanted to own a lot of these. Absolute steal
