Toxic! Produces oxlams when cooked with. Avoid like the plague.

    most natural oils do...

even frying up fish with their omega 3 & 6 produce it. so a bit of an over reaction lol

FYI Soya bean oil... Would have much preferred rapeseed.

...and why don't they label these as soya bean...or rapeseed oil, rather than a generic vegetable oil?!! I always have to look at the small print.

    Heat btw!

Both are just as bad, it's the chemicals and heeat they use t extract the oil from the seed that damage it so badly its stripped of anything good in it, avoid ALL seed oils unless cold pressed like Olive oil, hemp seed oil and Avocado oil, best of all use Lard or Ghee to cook.

Used to work nicely in my old Transit. Had to cut it with real diesel for the winter, or it would take 10 mins to get going

I really want to try this on my c320 2008 pre DPF. Just don't know if I'll mess up the engine? Any help with this?

    What country of production?

KTC tend to produce their products here in the uk but obviously source their ingredient from around the world

so uk production standards apply. which you'd think should be better than if produced elsewhere and then imported..

if heat is applied to any of the oil/butters said in other comments then the same happens. people will tend to fry/high heat cook with all of them and the heat will naturally produce it after the fact anyways.

just some weird scare mongering(not saying it doesn't exist but soyabeans have been used by the chinese for 1000's+ years to cook with. you never hear it with soy(soyabean) sauce or the like lol)..

site reputable case studies or otherwise just stop as it's silly

    heat though

Hmm, now we just need a deal on some methanol and sodium/potassium hydroxide…
… aaand a centrifuge. Get it right and you'll have a load of biodiesel, screw it up you'll have a whole lot of vegetable soap.

The extended life stuff always tastes rotten to me, particularly if using it raw i.e. in dressings/sauces.
