Quality coffee beans – responsibly sourced
Wetherspoon serves Lavazza 100% Arabica beans from Rainforest Alliance-certified farms.

The freshly ground coffee has a medium body and a delicate taste, with hints of almond and milk chocolate.

In the early days, Wetherspoon was involved in the development of the Lavazza La Reserva de ¡Tierra! Selection blend, which remains the blend of choice still served today.

The Lavazza Foundation
Wetherspoon’s customers have been enjoying the great taste of Lavazza coffee at the company’s pubs since 2005.

Established in 1895 in Italy, Lavazza is still a family-owned company, with the fourth generation very much involved in running the business and still devoted to the pursuit of coffee perfection.

As well as supplying great coffee, Lavazza helps to build schools and communities, as well as planting rainforest trees, through the Lavazza Foundation, supporting coffee-producing communities around the world.

Price does not apply to pubs in airports, shopping centres, service stations or the Republic of Ireland. Subject to local licensing restrictions and availability at participating free houses. J D Wetherspoon plc reserves the right to withdraw/change offers (without notice), at any time. This is not the case at airports. I was charged £3.25.

This is always and forever so not really a deal but a good reminder I suppose.
And a really good way to put your local independent Caffe out of business

Not sure how pod, machine coffee and hot chocolate compares to locally brewed fresh barista coffee 🤷 basically different realms, so not putting anyone out of business

Whether it's a £1 or £1.50, it's always a good deal if you are in need of a coffee on your travels.
Trouble with Wetherspoons is that I've never seen both machines working throughout my sitting, and you usually have a trek to the loo!

Just came back from my local Wetherspoon and you’re absolutely right only one machine was working

Gone up a little since I last used it, but can’t complain when I can easily get through 6-7 coffees in one sitting!

This has been on for a while in my local, Birmingham area. I thought this was normal.

Why would anyone get a FREE refill if they cost £1.50 each
    Roofer's avatar
You actually pay £1.50 for the rental of an empty cup, and you keep filling it as many times as you want with any of the hot drinks available.
It's more effort and double the cost to get a 2nd empty cup compared to re-using the original, so why would anyone go through the cost & effort to pay more for a 2nd cup? (edited)
