I know what you're thinking...How can a 4k monitor for £270 brand new be any good?

Well if you cross reference every other 27/28" monitor under £700 they all have IPS, 144hz refresh rate (some overclock to 160hz) and HDMI 2.1 / DP1.4, & Freesync (adaptive on some)

    Thanks for the info

BTW How is the backlighting for bleed? As the £700 LG 27GP950 that broke last week had horrendous back light bleed (also does it support G-Sync and Freesync?) (edited)

I've had an electricQ monitor for over 5 maybe 6years now (3440,100hz,va) it has never missed a beat! Would definitely buy this brand again, well worth the price tags.

Being a 4K monitor for £270 is nothing significant.

Being a 4K/144hz monitor is what makes this a huge deal. 4K/144hz was the realm of like £600+ monitors until like the past year. And it coming down to sub £300 levels means properly mainstream prices. IPS as well, not even some garbage TN panel.

4K is well and truly here. I dont know why anybody would get a 1440p display at this point. (edited)

Because more pixels is only more pixels, and that isn't automatically an advantage.

As someone who's owned 27"-28" at 1080, 1440p, and 4k, 1440p is easily my preferred resolution for that size. 4k only really becomes (mostly) beneficial with 32" and upwards, and is generally a bit of a pain on smaller displays.

Im in two minds, i can see that 4k at 32 inch will be a better experience, but the price good for what you get

The way I see it is this..
If using it for pc and not using image editors/video where the extra pixels are needed then go with a 1440@27".
For gaming on pc it's not really worth the wasted frames for a slight sharper image that's barely noticeable @27inch.
I would definitely consider 4k@32 for that reason.
If using for consoles it's a win/win I guess as it ticks all the boxes (edited)

Been this price for months. It's a decent Monitor! Crap build quality and stand but as to be expected for this price. The screen is surprisingly decent. Built in speakers as bad as you can imagine from this kind of Monitor. (edited)

Also, by crap I just mean it clearly looks low budget. Very plastic feeling to it all. It's sturdy and won't fall apart.

Anyone know what this consumes power wise, as my MSI optix 27in 1080p 144hz has a max of 26 watts, and i am having a hard time leaving such a great monitor with a anazing low power usage....BUT!, for a 4k 144hz ips, i am willing to go up to, lets say 50 watts. (edited)

Not bad for the money at all. Is it an 8bit or 10bit panel?

I've owned 2 electriQ monitors that both seemed "too good to be true" for the price. They were both great and as advertised.

Is this monitor height adjustable? If so whats the smallest it goes with a stand? I have a very specfic space it would need to fit.

Has anyone bought this and can comment on if it's any good? Information about this specific model seems to be scarce. (edited)
