It's not for everyone as it's education only price but its now £100 less now the M3 model has been released. £899 for the new design Macbook Air seems a very good price, and quite easy to get a TOTUM account to get it for this price.

Selling an expensive laptop with only 8gb is a crime. Going to age like milk soon.

Not really. Macs manage memory in such a way that 16gb isn't necessary. Maybe for gaming you might notice a slight difference but I doubt it. You could go for 16gb out of an abundance of caution/future proofing but it's not really necessary.

If anyone can wait till end of July, it will come along a freebee of Apple gift card or something else, last year I recall it was 120 pound Apple gift card

Also OP you can include 80 off 800 AMEX offer (my be for targeted users, it is on mine) (edited)

How do you get that? Doesn't show on mine

Best place to sell a MacBook Air (same specs albeit with a 512GB SSD)?

I just can’t get on with it (used a handful of times and put back in box for the past 6 months) and while the software I often use has a version for Mac, a lot of the users I support remotely have PCs and the keystrokes can’t be passed through. (edited)

Bought the m3 with 16 gig for £1399 with the student discount. I have been waiting ages for this to come out and nearly bought the Samsung.

I hate Apple products but back in my mind I want to buy one. Like phone or MacBook. I don't understand why do I feel this way.

It's because despite the ridiculous overpricing, they're really well made and last ages because of consistent updates. But they're still thieves because you have to pay £400 extra just to upgrade the RAM from the measly 8gb.

How is this a "Hot Deal" when it's the standard RRP?
    RuddyHandshake's avatar
Because the standard RRP is £999.00 so this is £100 off. (edited)

How will this fare for photo editing, eg with Adobe Lightroom?
    ROSG04's avatar
probably fine, but get 16GB anyway because performance will be better. though also bare in mind its a 2 year old machine, and you'll be able to get this for £799 in the coming months

    Hot as a mamacita. A 2022 apple laptop for less than a £1000 i bought 5!

Great laptop but upgrade your ram and space if you want to future-proof it
    Smoggy1970's avatar
Just upgrade it later when you've got the spare cash.

Sadly. It isn't easy to get a Totum account easily anymore.

Does anyone know if there is a way of getting a Unidays code from somewhere? I don’t know anyone who is studying or anyone that has a Unidays code. Thanks
