Currys still have some clearance macbooks available in store. I was asking about the M2 pro ones from previous posts, staff said they're all gone and offered me this one. Costco's price for the same model is £899, so this is still a great deal for a brand new macbook pro. I bought this from white city westfield and this was the last one there, staff said clearance is national, so it's worth checking your local currys. I believe the item code is 314723.

    Why and push the price up? For the average user 8gb of unified memory is enough. I can edit 4k videos and run photoshop/lightroom just fine. On a PC with 16gb and a decent graphics card it really struggles so you have to use proxies and put up with long wait time with photoshop/lightroom.

    I think where there is very limited availability for example one left in one store in one City it’s perhaps better Hot Deals do not post such deals as it means 10000’s of individuals are looking to try get a deal which within minutes of posting no longer exists- so a lot of time is wasted by many community members of Hot Deals.

    You will need to go to the store and ask for a stock check for the 'Clearance' item code 314723 on their computer, not tablet.
