For all those worried, how is it any different from using standard pretend teacups and kettles etc?
Im not getting it but when I looked at it, I thought brilliant as my 18 months old is always after my coffee mug sometimes so much that I sometimes have to give her an empty cup to hold and play with so that I can have my coffee. This way atleast its a toy. Its always up to the parents to make sure their hot drinks are away from the reach of kids anyways.

I personally always though pretend BBqs are not safe either but kids have been playing and enjoying them for years too (edited)

Great comment. The ones responding with such nonsense are the ones who probably played with plastic action man knives, guns, swords, and so on, btw still not a problem. Just kids playing, using their imaginations, and so on.

The Fisher Price gaming controllers I could kinda laugh at, but this seems very wrong.

I thought it was "my first Stanley Cup"

That's exactly what my missus said when she saw it! My response was that it looked nothing like the famous US Ice Hockey trophy

Have to agree with all the comments on here, why on earth would you encourage a toddler to drink coffee. Most of them are bouncing off the walls anyway !

I can't understand why. It encourages babies to interact with a coffee cup. Yet, let's say you have a coffee cup with coffee in, the baby is now attracted to pick it up in the same way. Which could in turn scald them. So wrong. Pretend phones - yes, pretend game controllers - yes. Pretend coffee mugs. - No! It even has some good reviews. I am missing something here?

I grew up with candy cigarettes. Probably funded by British American Tobacco.

These toys will be funded with tax avoidance dollars from starbucks to help promote their babyccino. Gateways drinks to hardcore espresso

Nope, in my uncaffeinated state on a morning there is too much of a risk I would pick this up instead of my actual cup and thereafter find myself in jail.

I pretend share my coffee with my little one. She knows it's dad's coffee and pretend drinks it. A plastic mug would do fine with warm milk or water too. Not everything needs to be a toy.
