All Dinner Set Discounts, Offers and Sale - October 2018
The name färgrik translates as colourful. Not really living up to its billing.
Have the dark blue plates and bowls only chipped because of poor handling used a lot this summer all good
Bought these last year for £12 I think they are excellent value and quality, not chipped or marked from cutlery
Shame it’s just one colour , but good find (y)
Yep I've had this set for about 6 months now, it squeaks with the cutlery like a blackboard in a cartoon. Have also found it marks with cutlery very easily. Ok for the price i guess, but probably better to pick up a reduced set nect time they're available at Sainsburys or the like.
Agree that dinner plates don't spin in microwave. If you are keen to get the square ones can splash out on flatbed microwave.
I have something similar from Homebase. The dinner sized plates will fit in but won’t spin (fierce) . Recommend having a normal round plate to microwave things in. Hope this helps.
these fit in microwave?
Shows £15 in Romford but scans at £12.50!
They look like cupcake cases.
I think so , as the store stocked the tree mug glasses that was posted on here last week by another member. Lots of stock of the dinner sets in store .
National? Thanks OP
It shows as £18 now.
Comes up full price in basket and check out
Still £25 in my local store :|
I read same reviews, but I bought it anyway for that price :D
I brought earlier in year and despite being dishwasher safe all the pattern has come off.
All sold out. Thank you for posting (y)
Heat added for the price
I think quite a few went up the other day, my set arrived on Monday and I thought oh I'll go and buy the bowls but they had gone up then... annoyingly I saw the bowls on eBay for a similar price but they sold and now more expensive there too :) I'll just keep it bookmarked and take a look daily
Oh no - keep an eye out they change price quite often. If I see them down again I'll let you know
I just checked again, The glasses and the cereal bowls and the Pitcher were all on offer and now they are full price again
The glasses was the one I noticed they are now full price
Which one? Just checked and the dinner service stilll £38.35 delivered?
I bought 2 of them. They break so easily. Little knock on something and plate is broken. Better pay extra for better quality
Great little set, bought two last week, plates are slightly smaller than regular dinner plates but perfect for what I needed.
They also have secret life of pets in Bury store
There is a Princess one?! Gutted as I would have loved the princess one. What does it look like?
I got a peppa pig and princess one :)
Damn no Peppa left. Only PJ masks
Thank you. On my way to get Peppa :D
Why were these deals not around 25 years ago? :)
It's a lot for the money.
My aubergines would dissappear into these plates!
For the kind of house that has an Avocado bathroom suite!
might have difficulty spotting the purple sprouting broccoli on these plates... :/
I'm waiting for the red sets to go on offer

Are they not oven safe?
All colours in stock at Doncaster.
These are not chip resistant as they are described, not in my house anyway
I think this is great for those on diet 😜
I ended up dropping and smashing the cup because the damn thing pricked my finger! Bad design...
Dammit! I want them! I need them!
Some heat, I like the design.
We need a second set for when our 'premium' set runs out and only half fills the dishwasher... This sounds like the way to go, thanks!
I like that you used the word bowly :D If you have an IKEA near you, I'd recommend their OFTAST range of plates and bowls over these chunky argos sets any day of the week. They're all only 50p each, dinner plates are 25cm diameter, but also a lot lighter, thinner, and stack well using less room as they're made from tempered glass, also easy and cheap enough to replace if any get broken. Last time I was in store, any 12 bowls or plates were £4.80 (40p each). Oftast plate's, bowls, deep plates
I have this set and use it with another set. The bowls are shallow - great for noodles or pasta but not so good for cereal. The dinner plates are small and are perfect for those who like smaller portions (contrary to an above commentator they are 23cm) Side plates are standard. The plates are light-weight (again contrary to an above commentator who says they are heavy), simple white that look neither expensive nor cheap, they can chip easily if your not careful taking them out of the dishwasher. Not amazing quality but fine if you are looking for a basic set with smaller plates.
this or the widely praised Wilko set?
I like that the bowls are more bowly!
hope you're making a good recovery, soz to hear that, and you're welcome :)
Hi, I haven;t been well so missed your post, hope that it's a case of "better late than never" thank you
select your store, then select pay now, then login, after that it should say promo code, enter "HOME20"
It must be me. but I cannot find where to put the code in. Can anyone help ?
Great starter set for students
Can this be applied to kitchen electrical? Need a new microwave...
You add it at the payment page or quote the code at the till instore :)
How do you enter the code?? Can't see where when reserving.
Thanks - just got some new pans :)
Code not valid on a small set of dining room table & chairs (skeptical)
Good find! Dual-use as well - you can eat your tea on it as well as your dinner (strong)
