It's 5 per box in farmfoods. This deals about 4p cheaper per egg. Maths done

Did these eggs change after Kraft took over because they don't taste quite same to me.. still like cadbury choc just not these so much. Mini eggs are the best.
    winko89's avatar
They used to be made from Dairy Milk but Kraft changed it to cheap chocolate.

Any idea what kind of expiry date they'll have? Could we buy them and save them for Easter?
    CardboardCutout's avatar
Yes. Creme Eggs come with a best before date which means they don't expire. One of the reviews shows someone bought them in March 2021 and a best before date of 31 July 2021 is stamped on the box.

Probably a good deal but still over 40p for cream egg
    david_robinson94's avatar
37.5p an egg actually. Alternately 35.4p an egg with the S&S deal.

Just wait for the post Easter clearance... Tesco usually offloads the 5 packs for 40p a pop. I normally stock up for the year then!

Anyone know if these have stayed the same size over the years? I've got a cute profile Easter chicken 3D design and I'd get these to make gifts for work colleagues. But if they have shrunk and don't fit I'll need to eat them all myself! 😝
    jeremy.fisk's avatar
I believe they're the same size, they just use cheaper chocolate, put fewer in a box and put the prices up.
  11. Gez2u's avatar
Wont be delivered until after Easter on 8th April for me......
    david_robinson94's avatar
You can change you S&S date if that is the issue.
  12. DomDealyo's avatar
If you are getting £17.99, uncheck the subscribe and save box and then check it again, went down to £16.99 for me.

Still not working for me. Added and removed a load of times

Old comment deleted, so I'll keep it factual.
Each egg contains 29% of your daily recommended sugar (higher for children).
So this 48 egg pack contains almost 2 weeks (13.9 days) worth of sugar. 4.3 days worth of calories, and 8.6 days worth of saturated fat.
Yes, they are nice in moderation as part of a balanced diet. There is nothing balanced or moderate about eggs in this quantity, regardless of how cheap they are.
    mark6220's avatar
    Everything in moderation. Including moderation

Shame they don't offer the white chocolate ones. Need to stock up on them as they completely sold out way before easter last year.

    Nice one OP!

I was going to buy some sugar but I think this will do it.

This. They're rubbish since they stopped using dairy milk chocolate.
  20. AverageBloke's avatar
Shame they've shrunk to quail size, but a good deal. Heat!
    shawty1984's avatar
They haven't shrunk in the UK.
  21. DealioFeelio's avatar
Poor quality since the dairy milk chocolate was replaced but as this thread shows people are willing to pay for a poor product.
  22. Sunglasses_Ron's avatar
Small enough now that you can one-throat them.

    Must resist....
    shawty1984's avatar

It's flavored margerine, check the ingredients, nothing about these is chocolate.
