sorted byOnly downsides is no USB-C interface, so you are capped at USB 3.1 speeds, and the NVME drive inside is only a micro form factor one, so upgrades aren't great.
Reinstalled Ubuntu Server on it and it's now running my plex and home security cameras. Put an NVME drive in USB adapter (both from hukd deals, total £130 but any USB drive would do) and put it in a cool, dry cupboard.
Not using a NAS or redundant drive as my plex content and my camera footage is not precious to me, camera footage is deleted regularly and plex content is recycled regularly.

How is this one compare to the others from Aliexpress? Which would be the best value for money? I intend to play P2 emulator, Retroarch & use as TV Box.
The G3 is more upgradable, with some enhancements but performance similar to this if you were to swap out the 8Gb for a 16Gb RAM module (about £20 secondhand).
The MN56 is the most powerful & semi-upgradable, but likely to pay VAT & carrier fee on top.
Played around with a few different builds now got Proxmox running 3x VMs for Arr services, home assistant OS and DNS/DHCP for Ad blocking. All running very well.
Make sure to reinstall windows and read two previous deals if it's your first time buying
Edit - managed to get it to work but had to go via the apps Choice Day section. (edited)

As no VAT being paid at point of sale, there's a very good chance it will incur this... £48 + £8-12 carrier processing fee when it is delivered.
Either way, this is better than if you bought from the Minisforum UK site at £349.

I have an odd audiophile power conditioner which has 4 UK mains sockets and 2 US sockets. But the US sockets must also be 230V devices. I wanted to use one of the 2 US sockets if it the supplied adaptor is multi-voltage.
Was hoping to get a 990 pro in it but they aint got one that size
I would recommend getting a used one from cex, WD and Hynix are good, though I am not entirely sure about Sabrent.

I would recommend you get a USB C power supply and dump the included one.
