8 screws to open the unit and 10 mins to change, drivers auto installed though I installed the latest from Intel - intel.com/con…tml

just becareful unclipping the antenna connectors, they have a little hot glue over over it, new unit comes with a plastic clip cover should you wish to install

I’ve been getting started sorting out proxmox and figuring it all out over the past couple weeks on mine. It’s a brilliant little machine and I’ve not once heard the fan spin up. I’ve got it plugged in on my bedside currently and I still can’t hear it. If anyone’s interested in going down the Plex + Debrid route, I’ve put a guide together of getting it all going on this exact pc with all the commands step by step.

Does this come with windows 11 installed? Tia

Just got mine today from the prior deal threads. So far so good. I used the guide to boot into Windows without internet connection first (OOOBE/BYPASSNRO command) so I didn't need to connect it to my home LAN or internet until I wipe the image. I'm going to extract the built in drivers to USB prior to wiping just in case (Shouldn't be needed it all looks very standard component wise). I ran an offline Windows Defender Virus scan and it didn't find anything. It is volume license Win 11 Pro. I'll be wiping it to use Promox but I want to first activate against my Microsoft account so license is active/ready if I go back to Windows 11 at any point....

Boots to using only 2.1GB RAM of the 16GB..... Not run CPU-Z yet to check CPU/Memory speeds.

One thing to note - after I changed BIOS setting for RAM from 3200 to AUTO the device froze on reboot. Had to hard power off and then after a long pause it did finally boot back up again so need to dig further on that with CPU-Z and make sure memory setting is correct etc.

btw - if you install Linux (I installed OMV and Proxmox today) you'll get lots of ACPI errors as the ACPI tables on this device has issues. The errors don't seem to cause immediate issues but its obvious whoever put together the firmware for this device cut/pasted stuff into the ACPI tables that likely are not components on this specific system....

My UEFI/BIOS version is 0.2 in case others have different versions.

Great little machine bought this the other week and using as a plex server. Windows 11 pre-installed (i did a fresh install just to be safe) Had a look inside and it would be easy to upgrade the NVMe M.2. Memory setting wrong at 3200 MHz in BIOS and need adjusting to 4800MHz. New to transcoding Plex but it seems happy enough transcoding .Mkv on the fly.

what's the hype behind this exactly? it has a weak intel CPU?

Thanks OP i seen the deal last month that's over 3000 heat but didn't go for it. I looked for a mini PC today and seen this post and it's a sign. Followed instructions for Revolut and worked perfectly thanks again

Video review says it uses 8w on complete idle (my 8th gen i3 idles even lower than that) and 32w under load. Thats not exactly power efficient for such a weak cpu.

Just got mine today but stupidly forgot to order a euro to UK plug adapter. One on order from Amazon so should get it tomorrow and get it setup as a batocera games machine.

The best price I’ve seen for an N100. Its usually about £130 to £140 for 16Gb/ 512GB.

This listing does not have an option for a UK plug though so it may not be any cheaper and more hassle to get the correct cable.

As far as I understand it, an N5095 is NOT an N100, but an inferior processor. What is the seller suggesting here - that it's all the luck of the draw as to which processor version you get?

Just got mine and perhaps it's been mentioned previously, but I want to perform a clean installation of Windows 11. So, I proceeded to Microsoft's website to download a copy via the Media Creation Tool onto a USB drive - it solely offered me the option to install Windows 11 (without the Pro version as an option) and I opted for UK English as the language. Now, should I insert it into the Mini PC and access the BIOS (unsure of which key to use), set it to boot from USB, and then reboot for the installation to commence? Would I need to input a licence key, or will it recognise that Windows 11 Pro was pre-installed by the manufacturer?

I believe these are rebranded ACEMAGIC / ACEMAGICIAN T8 Pro / Plus machines? ACEMAGICIAN is renowned for major viruses even if you buy it from amazon. YouTube ACEMAGIC virus or Mini PC spyware malware and all are warning about these brands - some guy almost lost everything!

Best to fresh install - download windows from another machine onto a USB drive and boot from USB drive and install. Personally I would not connect the internet with preexisting installation. Oh if they've infected the BIOS then you're screwed (edited)
