About this deal

This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

For those who don't have Netflix, the HD version of Fall (2022) is currently available to buy/download for just 99p at Amaon Prime Video.

Despite the ludicrous plot I actually thought this was quite a tense and gripping (no pun intended!) film.

Fall is a 2022 survival thriller film directed and co-written by Scott Mann and Jonathan Frank. Starring Grace Caroline Currey, Virginia Gardner, Mason Gooding and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, the film follows two women who climb a 2,000-foot-tall (610 m) television broadcasting tower, before becoming stranded at the top.

It was theatrically released in the United States on August 12, 2022 by Lionsgate Films.

It was a box office success, grossing $21 million worldwide against a $3 million budget, and received generally positive reviews, with critics praising its suspense, atmosphere, cinematography, practical effects, soundtrack, Mann's direction and Currey's and Gardner's performances, but criticizing its screenplay and pacing.

Thanks OP - just purchased it. I've suffered from vertigo all my life - parachuted from a Cessna in the early 80s and it didn't help. It's about time I confronted my fear again - this seems like a very good way of doing that!

Common mistake, but if you are referring to a fear of heights then that is actually called ‘acrophobia’. Vertigo is actual a symptom e.g. feeling dizzy or feel your surroundings are spinning, often as a result of looking down from a high place and feeling unsafe. I understand it was Hitchcock’s fault for bringing the word into misuse. ,

I had no idea about this film until I randomly stumbled across the trailer one day and realised I had to see it on the BIGGEST SCREEN POSSIBLE

Dumb as a box of rocks but very, very enjoyable.

Same here, I now let someone know where I am going and how if the height is over 6ft from the ground

Stupid plot, more of a comedy really. But good price.

Fun fact: in the UK this film was retitled to “Autumn”.

I've thought about watching this film, but my toes curl up and makes me feel edgy when I see those numpties who climb and hang off tall structures.

I've heard there are other benefits to watching it though. (edited)

Great film but the ending....... which is a weird thing to say but really enjoyed it.

The final scene was "not as it seemed"....look at the scene before it, it was a darker ending than people think.

Great imaginative movie made for peanuts (edited)

Thing is there are potential suicidal people climbing large objects like this for “Likes” and fun all over YouTube and no doubt others that I don’t subscribe to.

As there are car chases, drug dealers, soldiers at war, etc, etc. on both platforms too.

    Don't kill creativity and escapism.

Really enjoyed this movie, obviously mistakes were made, lessons to be learnt, full inquiry with recommendations to be put in place to prevent further occurrences

It's an OK film, but it would have been about 90 minutes shorter if I was there because I'd have pushed the blonde girl off the top of the mast for getting us stuck at the top in the first place. (edited)

I would like to watch this but honestly I really couldn't, not without feeling really sick and dizzy

in that case whatever you do do not entertain the idea of watching Free Solo....I had sweaty hands for weeks. Also quite enjoyed this film - good premise tho felt ending could have been better.
