    Just observations...

The 2024 Collector's Edition the first movie includes all 3 cuts (Theatrical, Special Edition & Collector's Extended) rather than just the Theatrical cut on the 2023 release.

Both of the new 2024 Collector's Edition movies have Dolby Vision and an extra disc of extras, compared to the 2023 releases. (edited)

Call me OCD but I like having the case in English But great deal shame the UK doesn't follow suit.

Such a crazy price just for a film.

Two films plus international shipping. Makes it a lot more reasonable.

First film is superb. The 4k bluray looks magnificent with breathtaking hdr. Decent film too. Needs some time shaving off it though.
The second film just bored me as its a rebadge of the first film.

Not sure these versions are worth any money

Between these movies and the dune movies it's so good to be back in the cinema for major blockbusters. That marvel tripe was getting a bit windows screensaver

Yep, cinema is well and truly back. Since 2021 we’ve had Oppenheimer, killers of the flower moon, the Batman, avatar 2, Dune part 2 and many more

Now that Avatar (2009) has been remastered, I wonder if it will look any better in colour?

Just what I thought. Not exactly an old film.

Whilst this is a reduction from RRP and in that respect a good deal. It's an unrealistic starting price. As such I won't cold or hot you, but state I will wait until this is £10-£14. Quite happy to wait or buy used. (edited)

Fair enough, although this is pretty close to the price you're holding out for, £15.25 each.

A film (Avatar 1) where the 1st hour is pointless 3D filler, no 3D version included. If you enjoyed the story and want it better paced, try Indio(80s) or Men of War (90s) (edited)

I would not recommend this, as both films are being re-released with Dolby Vision and Avatar 2009 is to be re-released in 4k with the extended cut. If you want a bargain, just buy the 2011 Extended Bluray, the picture quality is excellent and in any case Avatar was mastered at 2k anyway, this 4k disc is an upscale.

I can't get this to work.. it says I have added 2 promotional items but at checkout it's still over 53 euros.
