    After reading it uses the Veryfit app that was it for me so total garbage as the app is such a let down...

    Without the app you can't do a lot. I had a cheap one then after I changed my phone I couldn't install the app so I had to buy a new smart watch too. I went for an Xiaomi one because my phone is also Xiaomi. I also bought from CEX (boxed) because although it was the same price as online, I knew I could take it back if the app didn't pair. At CEX they told me order online and collect even if you can see it in store because you have more returns rights as it counts as distance selling. And you're not going to know if the app pairs until you have the watch itself. Hope that helps.

    It's amazing what these cheap smart watches can do now, though more often than not the app is where things fall apart. Even Mi Fit and the Huawei/Honor apps aren't immune, though the translations and reliability do tend to be better.
