I’m waiting to see if my Amazon invitations come in before buying a tv.

I know this cost more. But is it a better TV than the Amazon one?

    Good price.
I tried searching to see if the legs are adjustable inwards, there's no way these will fit our TV stand as photographed, couldn't find any info.
    Any one know?

you can buy a central stand to fit most tv's and not use the supplied legs.

    amazon.co.uk/Ped…=8-

Need to check this tv has the correct holes in the back to fit.

I've just ordered this I think it's a good price for a 43" I've been holding out for a lg 32" 1080p but this is a similar price

It's a full HD TV. For almost the same price, you could get a 4K panel from Hisense and TCL. You'll notice the higher resolution from a normal viewing distance from a 4K source, specially when gaming, but for SD/HD Freeview and lower resolution feeds a 1080p TV will probably display a better image.

Good price, but it's only full hd, not 4k.

The biggest problem is it's only got 2 hdmi 1.4 ports with earc on one of them. So if you want to use a sound bar, you'll only have 1 hdmi port. Will probably be ok for a bedroom or for people that only use the Freeview HD, sky/virgin or firestick.

You can buy a hdmi port splitter cable which has 3 ports, or a 5 port multi switcher. (edited)

This seems Really cheap I was going to order the Sony 32in from Argos down to £299 but wondering on this now ! Oh decisions

I think you must mean a Samsung?

I don't believe Sony make any 32 inch HD sized TVs now.

This TV is full HD 1080p. Quite a few of the sets listed as HD are only HD ready 720p. You have to double check the specs to be sure.

This is an ok TV. The only other HD sets your going to get are Hisense, Samsung, TCL or one of the Vestel manufactured re-badged makes like Alba, Bush, Hitachi, JVC, Toshiba, Polaroid.

    Is this model any good???

I have an older version of this.

The HDR on this is superior to the HDR on my bigger 4K sets.

Would it be better to get something like this for the Steam Deck as opposed to a 4k output? Would the performance/image be better on a 1080p screen?
    jcg's avatar
    Wondering the same.

What is min spec speeds for decent gaming ...cheers , have a son who wants a fast tv 🤷
    Steeljedi's avatar
This tv is limited to 60Hz, probably best avoided for a gaming TV, ideally you want 100Hz or above for gaming.

    Anyone received their “invitation” yet?

    Got rejected

Cold. This is cheap but only FHD. It has 1/4 the pixels of a 4k screen, many of which are only very slightly more for a 40inch model.

got for my mother for the bedroom...fabulous picture , hugely impressed.
