Just go the Aqua Shard Restaurant about three quarters of the way up and have a wander round for free

Can you just walk in or need to book?

Horizon 22 being higher and free must be hurting business.

Shard View is worth it for the toilets with rolling blinds. You can literally have a piss while the whole of London is watching

...they recommend that you pre-book your visit to Sky Garden:

I have not done the Shard, but I was happy enough with a recent evening visit to the Sky Garden.

Took my partner up the Shard as a birthday treat and they absolutely loved it. We got some amazing pictures too. Thoroughly recommended.

Just go to Aqua or Huong to see the city for the cost of a drink. They are in level 32/32 and face north. Oblix is the south facing cocktail bar with a good view of Tower Bridge and Canary Wharf.
In my experience, I would choose to eat elsewhere.

The top top tip is having drinks at Göng on level 52 - It’s what Oblix really should be if they could be consistent and suave it up a bit. It takes 2 lifts to get there.

You may aswell go to the Gong bar at The Shangri-la La, in The Shard. Spend your money there.

    Not worth it

Really like high views but was really disappointed with this. The space is horrible and somehow the angle of the building as you look down along the side makes it feel less impressive.

Another vote for sky garden at walkie talkie building. Also recommend climbing Monument for some wonderful views and really memorable experience at about £6 per ticket. (edited)
