Does someone have it? Is it any good? I'm planning to go camping with my daughter and this one looks an alternative for normal tents,I thought about trying but wanted to hear some experiences first

I had a smaller version made by robens. So the material was good and definitely better than this. But the design is the same. It was very good in wind and rain. The sides sloping was an issue and getting camp beds in was not possible. Had to sleep on inflatable mats on the floor. But this one is bigger. Also, there is only 1 room. And no bug mesh by the door. On modern tents, they have a black out bedroom with fabric to stop insects getting in. And a main area with a zip up door. But this is cheap, so maybe worth a gamble

It's a cheap bell tent. Not a yurt. Not even canvas like all bell tents are. This is cheap for a reason.

Don't see a waterproof rating on this. Can anyone help?

I looked on the link and the only clue for waterproof rating is when looking at the fabric type '150D polyester. So I googled it and found this
"150D Oxford Polyester PU 3000mm UV – a heavier, thicker polyester with a stronger weave, more suitable to event shelters and tent floors, what erproof with 3000mm HH rating and coated for greater resistance to UV"
But I am not saying that this particular fabric is coated to 3000mm Hyd Head, if it was (it should state it) it would be fine for our weather(rain).
Go for a proper tent. Mine is a vango galaxy 300, but they may have stopped selling them now. Don't know why as they are great as you can stand up in the porch and weighs less than 6kg. Great compact pack size esp considering the size of the tent when it is set up. (edited)

Picked on of these up in store today - £99+vat.
Looks like decent enough quality for camping in the garden or a night or two at a festival.

Fab price but sad that this can be bought in the USA for $60 regularly.

a friend has one of these. they are not water proof at all and always wake up with everything inside wet and horrible.

Won't be as cool (temperature) as a canvas bell tent but they're a good shape for casual summer camping. Only issue is limited bed height as you'll struggle to put many raised camp beds in due to the sloping sides. Better off with floor based beds.

Really not a tent I would buy. I have 5 so don't need another anyway. But this fails on all my key criteria. A decent tent should be 1- cotton or pollycotton , 2 - pvc ground sheet, 3 - aluminium poles . These are expensive tents around 1 to 2 thousand but can be bought second hand around 400 as people don't value quality anymore. They will last 40 years and more correctly looked after. Don't buy one that has mold the main issue.

Not really the same thing other than it being a tent, if you buy a bell tent it’s usually because you want that style not just any tent
