Thanks op ordered, on my 2nd Russell Hobbs one with leaky lid worth a try at this price and looks classier.

I have this and where the lid closes, there’s no seal around inside base. When you pour water out, it also comes out where it shouldn’t. Checked with Asda and there all same. Reached out to Scorville to see and they will look into it but not a bad batch. Looks great and does the job but that is very annoying. It also steams up on too around the circle plastic part the silver parts to sides are pushed on so not actually stainless steel made just trims

Glass kettles look nice for a few months before they scale up. Hard to get back to the original condition.

No it's not! I've had 3 and as long as it's glass and not plastic a simple descaling tablet sorts it right out no problem and looks like new again

Not sure about this one as the brand seems cheap.

I've been using one since December last year.

Great kettle that's nice and quiet, fast boiling and looks great.

I noticed this week that it's cheaper to order as click and collect on the ASDA George electrical items than to just buy in store. For example a 2 slice toaster is £13.50 online C&C or £15.50 in store. Another toaster £18 online C&C and £21.50 in store. Same shop different prices and not illegal as I saw on money saving expert site.

Can a store charge more than its website?
Quite simply, yes. We don’t have price regulation in the UK – there is nothing obliging a store to homogenise pricing over its various outlets. As long as it is clear in its pricing and not misleading, it could charge £1 for a toothbrush online and £20 in store.
Obviously, though, if it has a click and collect service this would be slightly ridiculous – but it isn’t impossible.

Scoville are good for baking trays and pots and pans. Probs okay for knives. Not sure I'm trusting enough to diversify with them to kettles yet. Well I'm not as I'm the market for a new kettle.
