Looks like my sort of game from trailer, though lots of mixed reviews on the Steam site. Thoughts from members here? Would be played on Steamdeck

I'd be inclined to start with JC2 and / or JC3 if you haven't played them. They're great games, and this one was a bit less popular. I didn't like it the first time I tried it, but will have another go at this price.

Not as good as 3 (XXL) but the hoverboard is great fun (DLC).

People want things to be the same but also completely new and surprising. You know, the usual "have my cake and also eat it". For this price it's a lot of content and gameplay. If it's 2/3 of the game JC3 is, it's surely a win on my book.

JC4 is nowhere near as good as 2 & 3.
It was a bit of a let down when released.
Worth it at £2.86 though

Great price, can't decide whether to go with this version or hold out for a god deal on Complete edition as reloaded is missing a lot of DLC

So realized last night I have the base edition in my epic library, obviously one of the hundreds of freebies.

if you regularly grab the free weekly games from epic (if you don't you should) check your epic library as you may already have the base game (edited)
