About this deal

Usually sold at £89.99, now £10 cheaper than the equivalent with a 9 piece accessory kit.

This SDS drill is a powerful and affordable tool that easily drills through masonry and chisels concrete with next to no effort - excellent for patio, fence post, etc. stuff!

It also comes with a drill bit adapter, so you should also be able to plug in your traditional drill bits into these.

Bought one couple years ago after 4 garden fence posts broke at base to break up concrete & allow repairs with concrete spurs.
A great investment saving much back breaking work not to mention satisfaction of replacing fence without spending a fortune on a new one! Would absolutely recommend.
    Have some heat

Buy this drill, use it, and then sell it (as barely used). Cheaper than hiring. This is a great drill that will make your job so much easier. Get the right tool for the job and you will be a happy camper

I've had one of these for over a decade during which time its put up with some abuse and is still going strong.

Only minor criticisms are that it's a bit on the heavy side (so be prepared for that and if you need to use it above waist height for long periods, overhead or up ladders there are much lighter alternatives available), can sometimes be a bit fiddly to get a chisel/spade bit into the position you want as the trigger is a bit all-or-nothing, and it mentions in the listing that it has no brake (when I bought mine I seem to remember it was advertised as having a mechanical safety clutch - but there seems to be some debate about this online - not sure if they've changed the design but it makes me slightly nervous about some drilling I need to do with a large core bit soon with mine).

For drilling holes in stone, concrete or brick, removing bricks, and breaking up concrete it's been brilliant. Jobs that might take minutes with a standard hammer drill are done effortlessly in seconds. (edited)

How do these compare to a corded MAKITA SDS PLUS DRILL?

They will both drill through pretty much anything with the right bit, but this can be used as a breaker for concrete, brick etc. You'll struggle to demolish anything hard with a standard SDS+ drill.

I am sure I only paid 59.99 last year for this

Yes, I have it too and was about £65 with the extra accessories. It's only used a couple of times a year but I'm glad it's there when needed. (edited)

Was looking to get this last month with the 10% app offer but this deal is even better. Thanks

Does anyone know when this offer ends?

It's probably best to call up CS as there doesn't appear to be an expiry date listed for the discounted products I can see.

Great drill, got one about 5 years ago, it's gone through anything! Knocked entire walls and a fireplace down (I bought a better chisel attachment but that's about it). It weighs a hefty amount but it's basically a tank.

    6846H x 1 Titan TTB653SDS 5.9kg Electric SDS Plus Drill 230-240V £49.99

This was in January 2020, so just over 4 years ago, wasn't far off

Bought one nearly a year ago to do a new fence. Was going to sell it but I'm glad I didn't. I've used it plenty of times in our house to do jobs I was putting off (because I didn't have a hammer drill). No wall can stop it. It's better to have a tool that you'll use once a year and make your life easier than not have the tool and burn you battery powered hand drill. It's true it's on a heavy side but that's what makes it easier to break up concrete in the ground. Let its weight do the job.
Would definitely buy again. Like Ian said, it's a tank!

This ^^. For breaking stuff weight is essential. If you're only drilling into walls, then a lighter SDS would be more convenient.

Lost the count on how many houses that drill took the render off the walls, still a beast

^^ I removed some render yesterday for the first time with this tool, and it was easy.

I bought this for 1 job with the intention of selling on, but couldn't even get £20 on eBay. So ended up keeping in case it still works when I need it again in 20 years

Offer to rent it out on Facebook for £20, get the cash up front and when it's stolen by the hirer, problem solved.

Couldn’t agree more, had one for years and it just keeps going.

It’s a fantastic breaker at the very least. Great for drilling massive holes for coach bolts too.

But as it’s so heavy, it’s not one I use for odd jobs.

Bought this about a year ago after 40 year old Black and Decker packed in. The drill is brilliant. House has very hard bricks and this just makes jobs so simple. Not used all the orther attachements yet. Its a bit heavey but jobs take no time.

Got one 5 years ago I don't remember it being this price. Seems to have gone up. Came in handy when moving into the new home I renovated broke down walls, concrete filling for fence post. Got one more project left for it this summer. Them I'm don't with the renovations... I hope...

I scooped this drill for £65 on an absolute bargain quite some time ago and it's still going strong, I'd still buy it for £74.99 today if I needed one.

It's a fair old weight after a while of lugging it around, but will manage any wall you throw at it.

Drills through brick as if its butter. The accessories included are decent as well.
