I got it from amazon when was on offer for only £20 and I'm happy I didn't spent more. It's tiny and only for small jobs, more like an electric screwdriver than a drill. Not as powerfull as you might expect. Although it's handy due to size. It might be still OK to pay £33 if this one suits you.

no point getting this better get one with hammer

Why? Maybe you live in an apartment, you have plasterwalls, so no need for hammer. Anyway, if you buy this, you can claim a hammer drill, so yes, even if you need hammer function, this is a good deal: blackanddecker.eu/pow…on/ (edited)

I voted hot! I think people missed the part that you can claim a freebie such as a battery or a hammer drill: blackanddecker.eu/pow…on/ (edited)

No hammer action and they don't quote the torque figure so probably very poor.

They are fine for small bits around the house, not for bigger projects IMO

What's great about it? Don't be dazzled by a once respected brand name. (edited)

Would this do for putting up curtian rods and the likes into a wood frame as well as screwing the screws in, plus i have a Blink doorbell that requires 3 holes to be drilled into my door frame, so i am looking for a one of these that will do that but won't cost me contractors prices. lol

Yes, it would. I've got one. Does the job well considering the price.
