Here’s a before, during and after comparison for anyone interested, took about 2-3 days to clear the algae from a property I recently purchased, that was a 5:1 ratio in just a watering can

Love this stuff. Top tip for those applicable. If you have a Karcher with a snow foam lance attachment, pour this into it and off you go. Have my entire patio, fences, and driveway done within minutes and just as effective as a normal sprayer.

Or…. You could buy Path, Patio and Deck Cleaner from TheRange for £3.99 for 5Litres.

Tried this stuff last year. Did nothing to patio. Would have been better using water

Odd - I find it fantastic at removing the green algae stuff that grows on my patio/walls and concrete steps/other products. Spray and walk - at worse may need a 2nd going over at the start of the season (winter growth) and 1 or 2 more goes through the year to maintain it. Used to power wash etc - power washer doing nothing these days.

I used this for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I was well impressed with it and exceeded my expectations for sure. But wondering why you'd pick it up from the shelf at that price and go purchase.... Seems expensive.

I needed to do my driveway and knew how good it was as used before to get rid of algee/moss, so just picked it up while in Sainsburys was prepared to pay the £14.50, so was a nice surprise when it scanned at £4.35

I have no idea what everyone is doing with this stuff but I use it about once per year to remove algae from my patio. I use the ratio on the container inside a shoulder carried pump spray and I see results 24 hours later without any pressure washing.

I would recommend what someone else said and do a pressure wash and then use this afterwards if possible just for the fact that this stuff would work even better on a partially cleaned surface

takes 45 days to work (edit for white/yellow/black lichen), so if ur in a rush dont bother.

Pressure wash and apply this after to maximise. or do this wait 45 days and then pressure wash. or both...

If ur after instant results and want to risk bleaching ur patio, oops, then pool cleaner, 10-11% concentrated bleach works too.

I would say dilute down to 2% an try but not sure how well it worked out for me to be giving out advice...

the other tip was mix in laundry detergent to help it stick to the patio and stop it running off so fast when dilute (edited)

It doesn’t, I did my balcony with it this week, took 2-3 days max

Centrachlor Red Label 25 litres concentrate....dilute 5:1 heavy duty cleaning or 10:1 lighter cleaning.....£20-£25. Most hardware shops, builders merchants, farm supplies sell it. I've never found any of the retail/shop cleaners much good.

This is 1/6 of the price and would do most old ladies patios 5 times over
