Great price, I’ve paid this for one from Amazon a year ago.

They are OK if you want to be/stay in the Corsair system but there are so many options at this price and cheaper that will offer alternate aesthetics and potentially better performance.

So yes good price, but don't just auto buy due to the branding.

Is there any good silent fans for similar price? (RGB not really important to me) My old fans are getting louder everyday

Considering these are the aRGB PWM fans this is a steal for 3!

This is a good price for corsair fans, I paid close to the same price for 1 a while ago when one of my old ones packed in. I don't know if I'd go for corsair fans again though as I find the icue software to be a right pain in the butt... it just decides to stop working every so often and is annoying to uninstall & reinstall

Just spent far too much money replacing everything with Icue link. It’s so, so expensive but it’s a great product.

Do these work with any old motherboard, in terms of the RGB element? Mine's quite old and I have no idea what I'm doing. (edited)

Well mine arrived today and the box says ARGB compatible out of the box, but doesn't mention needing additional components to make it work.

Got them to jazz up my Dell XPS8690 (less than a year old) but seems they are not compatible or need a Corsair RGB Hub.

I do have iCue installed already as I have a Corsair RGB keyboard that did work out of the box.

Anyone care to shed any light on what I need to make these work (pardon the pun)?

Does your motherboard not have an argb port? You shouldn’t need a fan controller to make them work. That’s normally optional.

Checked and cannot see anything called ARGB. It is a recent-ish Dell system but maybe not something Dell add to their motherboards?

Post what motherboard you have on here
