Microsoft rewards have enabled streak protection (Account Specific)

About this deal

With the streak protection enabled, you can miss up to 14 days in a year without losing your daily streak. Looks like it is account specific for now.

To enable, look for a switch on the right side, where it says Daily Set.

    Congrats on finding something positive

    Theyve removed Play With Friends and the bonus multipliers - thats 250 or so a day lost - thats been nearly half the daily points - so its a question of whether just doing searches with its 6 second gap is worth the effort now theyve increased the points needed for redemption too.

    Game pass has been poor for games for a year or two now - only Rewards make it worthwhile - and now thats over. (edited)

    Everything good comes to the end.
    At least i managed to collect and redeem my points towards Series X. So, no hard feelings.

    As of today they removed Playing With Friends On PC and nerfed it horribly so I’m afraid I’ll probably be finishing up with this ‘rewards’ program.

    major issue with these reward points at the moment though.. if you try and swap for amazon gift MS you need a phone number to auth the account. This doesn't work and MS don't want anything to do with it. If you have just one phone number and 1 MS account , you MIGHT be okay , but if you have more (like a work account which uses the same mobile number), it doesn't allow you to swap points

    I mean it’s easy as anything to get a new phone number. Just use any one of the number of different companies that’ll send a free payg sim out and boom you’ve got a new number

    If you enable this then your 14 days' of protection will reduce daily even if you complete your daily streak. You should only enable it if you know you will be unable to complete your streak (e.g on holiday) and want to protect your daily streak in that way. (edited)
