Buy it from Amazon if you can’t get to a store think there usually £9-9.50 with prime

Edit : £8.29 on sub and save with Amazon (edited)

Why has this been posted ? This is the REGULAR price
    Andrew_Smart's avatar
    Doesn't mean it's not a good deal

Went to HB the other day - so many products so much cheaper than other similar shops.

Has anyone tried the Stamford St no frills from Sainsburys? Pleasantly surprised when we tried them, not quilted but soft and strong and with 500 sheets per roll they seem to last forever. £1.80 for 4 but regularly at £1.44 on personalised nectar offers. We previously bought Nicky but found a 4 pack of the Sainsburys last the same length of time as 9 pack of Nicky. Been buying the Stamford St tissues and kitchen roll too, kitchen roll is long roll that again lasts a lot longer and £1.35 (£1 on personalised nectar) tissues 226 per box and 88p on personalised Nectar.

This is the usual price. No deal here

It's a cheap price for 32 rolls of toilet paper, other people may not be aware of the deal

Thus is great quality. been using it for years

Can anyone recommend any unscented toilet rolls of a decent quality?
    rapid85's avatar
I can second Nicky Supreme. We've just switched from Andrex Supreme Quits. Believe it or not, with Andrex's recent reduction in quality, Nicky Supreme is slightly softer, in addition to being cheaper and bigger rolls.

It can be sometimes tough to get from home bargains so call the store ahead of time and they'll check stock for you.

I always pick up Nicky from HB ( think its £4.99 for 18 ) instore, and think they are way better than the ' premium' brands.

    Whats Aldi's Saxon like? 24 for £4.99

I just don't like loo roll that is 'dusty' and breaks apart, like Andrex
    JD_'s avatar
Aldi's look identical but slightly less paper in a roll and just a tad smaller when put side by side (edited)

Here's a tip noone asked for. Get a 2-ply toilet paper from the cheapest kind.
For each "wipe" use 2 squares, making it a 4ply! At the end of your job you usually don't need a 4ply, so you can get back to 2ply to save on paper.
4 ply is better than 3 ply and you save the earth using low quality recycled paper...or something like that (edited)
    Ladylayx's avatar
Correct, your only wiping S up anyway

Every toilet paper I tried that had a word "luxury" in it was terrible. Expect no different here. Cold.

These are actually really good quality

Why all the heat? This is the normal price…..
    Spidereater_Spiderman's avatar
As I thought, it's crappy 2 ply, you will connect with your inner self sooner than chuck norris
  12. student.223's avatar
Been using this for years. It's good.

And I've always regretted those odd occasions where I've chosen something else because it's been cheaper.
  13. DisagreeableRunt's avatar
Use this all the time. No complaints from anyone. As long as your fingers don't go through it and it's not like sandpaper, you don't need to spend more.

If you're so precious that you wipe your backside with silk, it's maybe not for you.
    DonkeyKonk's avatar
What would the neighbours think if they saw you using a cheaper brand
  14. Dealyy's avatar
    Standard price
    nik1's avatar
Agree. Not entirely sure why it's got 500+ for no money off?
  15. SWERVE_79's avatar
Has it not been this price for months?
    DELOS's avatar
Yes but it's still a good deal for 32 rolls
  16. AsManThinketh's avatar
I'm not putting that carcinogen talc onto my butt and would rather no indiscriminate lotion there either.
    smiffy1888's avatar
Yes, best to wipe with homegrown bamboo stems, its slightly painful but environmentally friendly so I don't really mind

Docking leaves are my all time favourite tho; softer than thee sticks
  17. BOPDOOOBS's avatar
Used this toilet roll for years and it’s very good quality. But why will HB only let you buy the one pack??
    Salad_Fingers's avatar
I've never had an issue buying more than one pack.
  18. jase.2's avatar
Always this price so hardly deserves hottest deal of the day tag

Good toilet paper been using for years now. Sure the price is always around the same at HomeBargains as I’ve always purchased them from there
  21. DeafCassette's avatar
    Are these back-stripers?
    rapid85's avatar
    More like brown stripers.
  22. GodVilla's avatar

52450975-08SXP.jpgHow can they charge so much for delivery ?!?
    taymuh17's avatar
    Author
They only charge £3.49 for delivery. You must be far away or Northern Ireland that is why they are charging you so much.
  24. senor_eggnogs's avatar
Triple ply!!!!….cos sometimes the finger goes though.
  25. deanos's avatar
Aldi is £4.99 for 24 of there own 3 ply, works out cheaper than these now, i believe Lidl also same price
  26. Firemountain's avatar
I though this was the price all the time. My parents asked me to pick it up for them last week, wasnt on offer. Just normal SEL .
  27. REIGNOFVENOM's avatar
Great price if you don’t mind brown fingers…
  28. Glasgowpeach's avatar
Can I get more than 1 online? It’s only allowing me adding 1 to basket
  29. Ladylayx's avatar
    Isn't it always this price?
  30. woldo's avatar
That's how much it always costs at my local, so not a deal for me really but would recommend Nicky to anyone. I've been using for many years. It also smells nice before use.
  31. rdh424's avatar
current cheapest per sheet are Aldi Saxon but this is my go to
    Motheroftwo's avatar
on the personal nectar deal Stamford St work out at 7.2p for 100 sheets, without deal 9p per 100, Saxon are 13p per 100.
  32. tneyugn's avatar
Lots in stock at 8.49 at HB Beckton. Just bought 2
    52471170-IImBZ.jpg
    gary333's avatar
There's loads of stock everywhere usually, they get these in by the pallet load, and have done for many years.
