The year is 1989. You are a man named Henry who has retreated from your messy life to work as a fire lookout in the Wyoming wilderness. Was pretty underwhelmed after all the hype for it. Too simplistic and just not that interesting

You're either going to get into it or not. It's basically a short story.

Fantastic in VR (mod, but almost flawless) on the PC, one of my favourite experiences. Same people (game, not mod) went on to make Half Life Alyx, say no more.

That £1.50 at the last sale so if that's your bag, hold off. (edited)

I thoroughly enjoyed playing this game, and then listening to the PlayThrough podcast where they also played the game and talked about its story, trivia and such like. Great atmospheric soundtrack if I remember correctly. It is rather short, but if it bites you then it won't let go.

Loved everything about this and it had me me hooked right till the end when the climax was soooo underwhelming and disappointing. For me.
