Just be aware if you are DIY, you hit a nail with the metal blade (or careless in storage) and its ruined. One ding in the blade and its in the bin. The plastic is far more durable.

I watch Blanes plastering videos (the guy in the pictures) and in his latest videos he recommends the refina x skim over the ox. Also, stainless tends to pull on the plaster a bit more so better with the plastic blade which also makes it easier to paint afterwards as it gives a matte finish. (edited)

Refina has a much better ergonomic handle for one.

Also worth mentioning 900mm is reduced to £52.18, an approximate £20 saving.

I've found b&q and toolstation sell it for £55 as normal price, so no big discount. Unless there are different products... but looks the same.

You'd want the plastic blade version for flattening, I have both and use this for finishing sometimes.

Do plasterers use these or just DIYers?

Old school plasterers don't as they look down on the use of the spatula as its not how they learned. But new wave plasterer's or multi skilled builders are fans of it. In my experience it realy is a devide between young and old people.
