About this deal

Lowest I have seen it on here - usually around £700. Gets good reviews - though I am sure there will be much debate on what is the best machine to buy in the comments!

Key Features

The Barista Pro offers barista quality performance with a new intuitive interface that provides all the information you need to make coffee exactly the way you like it. The built in precision conical burr grinder delivers the right amount of ground coffee on demand, for full flavour. This combined with a 3 second heat up time and precise espresso extraction, and you can go from bean to cup, faster than ever before.

The Barista Pro allows you to achieve a consistent and balanced espresso by using the right amount of ground coffee. Filling the 54mm porta-filter with 18 grams is the key for full flavour and third wave specialty coffee.

The innovative ThermoJet heating system achieves the optimum extraction temperature in 3 seconds with instantaneous transition from espresso to steam. Make your best coffee without the wait.

Digital Temperature Control (PID) delivers water at the right temperature +/- 2°c, ensuring optimal espresso extraction. Low pressure pre-infusion gradually increases pressure at the start and helps ensure all the flavours are drawn out evenly during the extraction for a balanced tasting cup.

The powerful steam wand performs at the level that allows you to hand texture micro-foam milk that enhances flavour and enables creation of latté art.

    Not bean to cup.

I have this machine and love it but it isn’t bean to cup. Please expect to learn how to make espresso if this is your first machine.

It’s a manual espresso machine with a built in grinder.

Same here. Barista Touch Impressa. Amazing machine used daily. Replaced a broken 13 Yr old Jura Ena9 bean to cup machine.

Best price in ages for this great all in one machine brand new from a good retailer. If you learn how to use this and buy decent beans you will be able to make excellent espresso and espresso based coffees.

Personally I prefer seperating the grinder and espresso machine as you can upgrade, repair and replace easier, but it is personal choice. I also prefer buying heavier duty machines 2nd hand though and tinkering with them, which is definitely not for everyone.

Can anyone recommend beans that work well with this machine?

Coffee beans work great, baked beans not so much..

This a great coffee machine and really easy to use, within a day of learning it, you'll be making great coffee without much of a thought. Just so a bit of research on how to do the espresso shot first

Great price for a great machine - I have one and paid £100 more last year. Heat added.

We have a Sage Barister Express machine, 5 years now and still going strong. It is a steep learning curve if you've never used it before, but it is well worth it in the long run. It's a hefty investment but we have probably saved more by making coffee at home instead of getting takeaway than the whole cost of the machine

Im a month in and love mine. I only have 2 a day. May be a bit of a faff if having any more than 2 a day to be honest

How does this compare to the Barista Express Impress?

I have this exact machine and love it. Decided to get rid of my Melita bean to cup machine as the brewing unit needs frequent cleaning which is a PITA. This also makes better coffee once you learn how to use it.
