Thanks @NCIS for the Ebay code. Nespresso by Magimix POD coffee machines might be more expensive, but they have the best tech on the market, so they’re well worth the money. If you’re a t…

"If you’re a true coffee connoisseur, this model will look great on your worktop" Who writes this rubbish!

Remember you cannot buy third party pods for these. You need to buy the older design Nespresso for that. But looks a good price if you want this one.

3. The stated Nespresso machine must be purchased between the stated dates from one of the associated Nespresso retail partners only. but no mention on their website who their retail partners are. I'm thinking you guys are right.

Arold

Exactly what I was thinking.

Ashe

You'd probably be better buying direct from AO or another supplier for slightly more, as eBay purchases may not be accepted for the free coffee / frother promotion. It's possible it may work, but I wouldn't risk myself without someone confirming it.

I ran through some generic 'fixes' and it's getting returned.

the vertuo plus machine is leaking? did nespresso say anything?

SJHan

Plenty of people selling these machines off for a few quid on marketplace as they've realised the pods are to expensive.

Arold

Yes, they're very good. Quick and easy, largely mess-free. The coffee won't taste like that from your Bialetti but, if you like the coffee from high street chains, you'll like the coffee from a pod machine. Consider buying one that takes old-style Nespresso pods rather than a Vertuo machine - see my post above.

Are these pod machines any good? I tend to use a stove top bialletti mokka pot to make my coffee which always always tastes really good, but does take 4-5 mins to make one cup.

the standard Nespresso capsules aren't brilliant but The vertuo plus capsules taste fine. Most of my coffee is made fresh but when I can't be bothered these do the job. You can recycle them for free as well.

dogsballs

is it not £79?

Krooner

sussexroyal

Nonsense

banjomike

Nespresso pods are fully recyclable and the coffee grounds are magically turned into compost. If the customer cannot be bothered to use the free recycling scheme then stuff them (customers not pods). And the coffee tastes fine.

With the free pods they simply give you a selection. I didn't get a milk frother with my deal drat but if youve claimed it then it should arrive in due course. If you activated your subscription then you choose your first months selection ( I went for the cheapest larger pods) and ordered. You can claim your free recycling bags at this point. Your payment amount is recurring until you cancel. Your 6th month is free also. Thats about as much as I recall. I did buy one of the pod bundles a couple of months ago. Not sure it made any difference cost wise.

Shakattack

Hi. I have received the 50 complementary pods with the subscription code. I have used the subscription code to activate my subscription and claim the milk frother. I paid £1. Will I receive pods with the milk frother? Surprised I was not asked which pods I wanted monthly as part of the subscription. Thanks

JDUK2020

Have to say I dont think there is much difference between coffee shop and Vertuo pods. They are not awful by any stretch of the imagination and are probably the best out there. Yes Nespresso have a monopoly on these patented pods and they are on the expensive side. However it costs me at least £2.95 for a single cup of shop bought coffee. If your a coffee bod then bean to cup machines may be the way to go. I found them way too much work. Whatever pod machine you use they are generally efficient and fast. Nespresso costs can be spread with their subscription service and free pod offers. They also have a pod recycling service with free pick up.

sufy123

You mean the Nescafé dolce gusto don't taste nice?

myreplywillgetdeleted

Nah, it's to get you into their eco system as you can only buy pods from them They reap the rewards in the long run. They used to do the same with the old style pod machines before the patent lapsed
