Been keeping an eye on this as it's a relatively new listing, but all their monitors have solid reviews. I've not seen one with this spec at a lower price, so it looks like a great deal.

About this item
  • 【Excellent image quality】KOORUI 27 inch gaming monitor GN07 has a solid contrast ratio for an IPS panel, so it works well in both dark and bright rooms. The DCI-P3 90% color gamut enables the gaming monitor to have rich colors and present vivid images. 178° wide viewing angle makes you enjoy the picture quality from any angle. The computer monitor with 20000000:1 dynamic contrast ratio makes picture clearer, sharper and more delicate.
  • 【High refresh rate with smooth motion handling】The PC monitor with 170HZ refresh rate solves the problem of graphics latency in FPS, racing and sports games, get rid of the blur and say goodbye to graphics lag. The 1ms response time allows previous residual shadows to no longer remain on the screen, thus reducing edge blurring of fast moving objects and allowing for smoother gaming.
  • 【Flicker Free & Blue Light Filter】KOORUI 27 inch computer monitor greatly reduces screen flicker and keeps the picture clear and smooth all the time, which can relieve human eyes of tension and fatigue. And the blue light filtering function is added, so that your eyes will not get tired even after long hours of work or games. The 1440P PC monitor can provide you with the most comfortable entertainment enjoyment.
  • 【Adaptive Sync support】The gaming monitor with Adaptive Sync minimises input latency and reduces or completely eliminates stuttering, blurring, and tearing during gaming and video playback. The monitor is pre-programmed with RTS, FPS optimal display mode values for excellent display quality. Equipped with dark balance function, you can clearly see the enemies hiding in the dark and a game aimer for fast targeting of enemies.

Great price for a 1440p 170hz IPS monitor... might be worth putting IPS in the title.... Heat (edited)

Mine came today and I've just set it up as a second monitor. Box says GN07 on it, monitor is as described 170hz 1440p 27" IPS. Blur busters test looks decent on it.

There are three overdrive modes, normal, fast and fastest. Fast looks good and better than normal. Fastest is unusable with the amount of inverse ghosting.

There's a little joystick on the back bottom right of the monitor that is easy to use and navigate around the OSD.

Monitor has freesync but no BFI technology, there's a "dark field bright effect" which I assume is there to increase dark areas while gaming. Can't go wrong for the price, very happy tbh.

Also note, I have my monitors pretty dark e.g. this IPS needs to be on 0 brightness and 40 contrast and it's still plenty bright enough for me. I get very minimal backlight bleed because of this (probably).

Hi, what do you mean blur busters? I've read a few places where it says this monitor ghosts like hell. Deciding between this or 24" Iiyama IPS for £125 off Amazon..

i have 2 monitors from Koorui , a 27" 1440p 144hz and 24"1080p 165hz. Both are great quality i dont have any issues with either, even after them being on for god knows how many hours each day over the course of the last year. I would recommend the brand from my experiance. Heat

Has anyone found a review of this ACTUAL monitor? I’ve found lots of reviews from this brand but none of this actual monitor.

I’m sceptical that it’s actually an IPS panel and not a VA. Can anyone confirm?
    Shah_AlivUs's avatar
No need for reviews. Hear from the horses mouth.

The outside small sticky label says VA165 but the box and all says 175ips. The display is IPS. It does HDR.

Looking at angles yes it's IPS. Now obviously not comparable to my lg c2. The blacks are a bit washed out but at all angles the colours are good and vibrant.

If you leave it on HDR mode then you cannot change the brightness, this you'll need to set via windows. I found it too bright.

I also noted in HDR mode the colours appear "too vibrant'" as in when I had red cells coloured it looked more like a luminous red orangey feel.

Overall I like it. I'd get this over the 2 benqVA panels I have. Doing UFO test it's good.

For the price it's really good value.

Great price, but is it actually a good quality monitor? Can anyone find any reviews?

Apparently its got a lot of ghosting. I'd recommend spending a bit more and getting LG 27gr75q (£230 on Amazon) or waiting till the end of the month for dell g2724d to go on sale for £200

I've found the Amazon US listing that has some reviews a.co/d/0LilFRb (edited)

Hmm, five 5-star, two 2-star and five 1-star reviews. Not great.
  7. XP200's avatar
At this price these are a steal, of course do not expect a LG Ultragear 240hz type features and picture quality, but for £140 these are worth the money and will get you on the 1440p gaming ladder.

Mine arrived today and has a sticker saying 165hz VA FHD...
    hotukdilz's avatar
Did it come looking brand new and sealed? or is it a possible dodgy return by a previous buyer.

Hey thanks for taking the time to post and share your first deal with the community!

Just bought it. Seems has 30 day return a Also 3 year warranty.

For anyone with multi monitor setups or mounting to a wall, be aware that some clever cloggs decided to put the on/off switch on the back which might make it very difficult to get at depending on your setup!

Do either of yours support 4k? Mine arrived today and it's somehow turned out to be a 4k panel. Wondering if anyone else has had the same result
  15. Artonox's avatar
i cant find any reviews on these. These are pretty much the same price as 24 inch 1080p equivalents, so its a no brainer for size reasons.
  16. Kr1pt0's avatar
Ordered, was looking a 1440p at a decent price. Can’t believe the spec. Great deal thanks OP

One to note is the stand only has tilt functions and no adjustable height.
    davie412's avatar
Worth noting for sure, tends to be one of the first things to go on cheaper monitors.

Get that Guinness World Records 2018 hardback dusted off and put to good use

    Any good for PS5?
    zinqzinq's avatar
Good question, bought it for Xbox X will see tomorrow
  19. KennyMac1980's avatar
I have no experience of gaming monitors, be gentle. My son has an Xbox series x and it's hooked up to an old 32" Sony LCD TV. I can't even remember if it's 720 or 1080. Would this monitor give a big boost to pic quality?
    PsychoSonny's avatar
Consoles will be better on a 4K screen usually and this is 170hz consoles can't go that high.

    4k 120hz is better than 1440p and 120hz
  20. hotukdilz's avatar
Upvote, I was looking for a cheap display, while I wait for other ones to arrive on preorder, thank you.

Mine arrived today and has a sticker saying 165hz VA FHD... Hope it's wrong

I was going to buy this until I saw your comment and someone else with the same.

Have you managed to determine what spec the monitor is?
  22. BananaTime's avatar
Had no idea things can pop out of monitors these days
  23. hotukdilz's avatar
Got the monitor 30 minutes ago, very happy with it for the price
better than having a 1080p back up monitor long term and will be useful as a 2nd screen long term.

Is yours 4k too? I've somehow ended up with a 4k panel (60hz only) that still does 1440p 170hz
  24. kaewhole's avatar
Arrived today and within an hour of using the screen turns black and is unresponsive. Happens when switching from Disney to Netflix (using Xbox). Checked hdmi and power without success. Will be returning.
  25. miches82's avatar
Im ordering one along with extended 2 year amazon warranty. Heat!
  26. Shah_AlivUs's avatar
Got mine. Box says VA 165 FHD. Not sure what to believe.
    Artonox's avatar
ive got mine today as well and sticker says the same. However when i turned it on you can set it to 170hz and its QHD out of the box.
Also, if you tap the screen if there is smudge then usually its va, which this doesn't pass, so probably ips (edited)
  27. Shah_AlivUs's avatar
Do you guys find settings hard to access. Did not realise have to press button and hold the joystick to turn on.
    hotfinder's avatar
Most monitors I’ve used in the past have them behind the monitor and seems to be the trend so you get a clean appearance at the front. Sadly we all have to get used to them being at the back and fiddly. Why they don’t have a small remote as well is beyond me
  28. Ryan_ThompsonBQ4's avatar
Not sure whether to get this or pay £186 for the LG Ultragear 1440p IPS. I have a LG C2 oled main display. So am wondering whether to get two of these or two of the LG Ultragears for productivity side displays. I guess the cheapest is best if I’m not gaming on them. (edited)
