It says tested for water resistant up to 50m and at the same time the description states "splash resistant".

    I don't get it

It's a bit counterintuitive & because of how they test. Drop it in a 50m lake & it should remain intact. Swim with it on your wrist on or near the surface & you are putting it under a different kind of stress. They usually test for the first passive type of pressure. Only certain dive watches tested to a specific ISO rating (I can't remember the number) are tested individually under conditions a diver would need, and 200m WR on those means you can swim with it at 200m depth. Seiko SKX or a Citizen Pro-master for example. Non ISO rated watches aren't tested rigorously & probably only given a passive test.

For this watch I'd happily wash my hands in the sink, but may not risk it in the shower & wouldn't swim with it. As a rule of thumb, personally I would only swim with a watch that has minimum 100m WR.

Bear in mind also, WR watches often use rubber seals at the crown, pushers, crystal & caseback which degrade over time or in seawater and need replacing periodically. Also, certain watch service centres will do pressure tests if they have to open the watch case at all. For the ones that don't, it's useful to be aware that even a simple battery change can compromise WR.

    Wrote another essay. Link.

That Pagani offers way better specs and can be had for even 28$ with a bit of luck.

A shame about the size, but looks very nice. It's only 38mm

Id say this is probably the price it should be and £10 more than how it feels. Nice looker though

Also one of the worse watches made by Casio, mine was so bad I returned it and ended up buying one off Aliexpress, which had an automatic Seagull movement and 100 meters water resistance.

    Looks like it's 35mm and 40mm lug-to-lug.
