Been looking for a few weeks for my son’s birthday and this is the best deal I have found for a while. 1% TCB partly pays for the £4 delivery fee. Hope this helps someone. Cellular watch for GPS price.

    I won't lie, I miss the quality of the apple watch.. what I don't miss is the battery life.

    I don’t like how big they are now. My first two were 38mm perfect for my wrist size now they are 41mm minimum and absolutely massive

    Genuinely curious if anyone ever uses the Cellular feature? It seems a bit of a waste of £5 or however it is a month for it.

    I do the same as many other commenters. I bought one for my 9 year old son. It’s great he can call us anytime. Battery needs charged daily, but it’s fine to do it before bed. EE offer a stand-alone tariff for the watch only (without phone). I made the mistake of trusting Three when they said they offered it… they don’t. What a hassle getting them to cancel & refund the 48 month contract I’d signed due to this wrong info. EE all the way!

    I have put the cellular on friends and family set up for my mother who has no iPhone. I would recommend the Truphone annual contract at £79. It is 7 days free trial. If you are on EE you can add a watch e-sim to an existing contract for £5.

    Yes. My opinion is that SE suffices for health tracking, workouts etc. It’s an excellent smart watch by all means. But if someone wants to wear it professionally, I think Always-On-Display on 7/8/9 makes a big difference which makes it look like an actual watch. And quick charge may be worth it for sleep tracking.

    For those curious, EE do offer family plan on 3rd party bought apple watch. It costs £7 a month, comes with unlimited data, calls and txts.
    Only thing to consider- Spotify doesn’t support standalone app, it requires an apple watch to be paired to a phone so you can install (incidentally my son’s phone is paired to my phone, but family watch has limitations to installing apps from the phone).
