  • The Nextbase 320XR Rear Camera Bundle is the ideal solution for all-round protection on the roads in full HD quality. The 320XR front cam captures every detail of the road ahead in 1080p full HD at 30fps, with the aid of a 140° wide viewing angle. It utilises the latest 2.5” screen with IPS technology for easy menu selection and playback. The 320XR uses the exclusive Click&Go PRO mount with integrated neodymium magnetic power connectors for easy installation and removal using just one hand.
  • The 320XR Rear Window Camera connects to your front facing dash cam via a supplied 6.5m cable. It fits directly to your rear window via an easy to install self-adhesive pad. The magnetic, adjustable fixture means that its suitable for angled windows in cars or more vertical van windows. The Rear Window Camera records in full 1080p HD with a wide 140° viewing angle to guard against everything from hit and run impacts to knocks and bumps in a car park.

Even the 1440p g522w is rubbish quality, might be useful to see how blurs moved in the event of an accident but good luck capturing details like a reg plate unless they're directly in front of you. Nighttime, forget about it.

Nextbase is just a brand with nothing positive backing them

Had this for a while now, have to say nothing has impressed me about this dashcam or the brand.

    Randomly turns off/ resets
SD Card error every 2 weeks
Next to no trust in the parking mode

I've had a nextbase for a long time, but have to agree, there's probably loads of cheaper dashcams that are just as good, or better. (started getting sd card error last week too)

I've had a Nextbase Duo Dashcam for a few years which has been professionally fitted twice to 2 different cars. IT'S BEEN AWFUL.

Lots of blue screens, resets, card errors. The support from Nextbase is non existent. AVOID NEXTBASE AT ALL COSTS

If you bought it from a well known car accessories retailer then it would be around £50 for an install. I bought a refurbished dashcam from Nextbase and a new hardwire kit. Hardwire kit didn't work out of the box. Also purchased a Nextbase 64gb card. Card is fine but the included adapter for the micro SD card didn't work. As with most people had plenty of other card adapters lying around. So for me but hit and miss with Nextbase.

I've had my Nextbase dash cam for the best part of three years and with the exception of a couple of booting errors, it's been flawless. I have it hard wired and it records 24/7, front and rear. I'm fairly certain a professional install would negate many of the issues others have experienced as mine has functioned almost perfectly for a long time.

Don’t go near Nextbase if you want a dashcam that will have nothing but problems, incorrect timestamps, turning off randomly and so on. I’ve had a couple of Nextbase dashcams and they’ve all been terrible, suffering from the problems I described, as have other comments below. Get yourself one of these instead from AE, I’ve had this for 2 years (previous model) and have had no problems whatsoever. No brainer for a Wi-Fi dashcam with app connectivity for the price! Look up Sameuo videos on YouTube and see for yourself!

Just found this amazing item on AliExpress. Check it out! US $17.63 49% Off | Sameuo Dash Cam Car Camera Video Recorder 1080P Black Box Auto Dvr Build in App Wifi WDR Night Vision G-Sensor For Cars

Given this heat because they are often a good reduction on elsewhere. My only caveat is that I've had 2 dashcams from the ebay outlet, first one was as new in all respects, second one had 2 scratches on the viewing screen, was a bit dirty, and the box was bashed about. Didn't mind because it worked and was £40 cheaper than elsewhere, but was a bit disappointed after the first one being mint. It certainly hadn't been refurbished and had def been used in a car.

I had nextbase 322gw dash an hard wired in by VW. Dreadful. Battery wouldn't hold charge so kept switching off. Temperamental about connecting to iPhone ! Would never buy again. Sold for parts on eBay.

Sounds like a good deal, anybody have this model?
And roughly what would I be charged to get this fitted ( hard wired, yes extra cable needed and sd card) thanks for any info

I've had one of these "refurbished", off eBay it was awful, customer returns and it was dirty and battered

Very strange comments on this item. I've had three Nextbase Dash Cams over ten years and, apart from occasional problems with sticking to windscreen, I've NEVER had any issues with them. I think someone could be trying to put others off purchasing, perhaps for nefarious reasons.
I'd recommend them, including 322 which I have at the moment. Video at night is excellent, and crystal clear. I don't have the rear view camera yet.

I find your comment offensive. I paid good money for my nextbase and fitting by VW. They removed rear camera after a week as it interfered with DAB. My front camera rubbish as per above and Nextbase no help. Google and you will see issues with holding charge, randomly turning off etc. Took to a repair who said he binned his own one for same reason. Buyers make up their own mind but I always post hibest reviews and experiences.

I have a couple of Nextbase Dashcams - both are professionally hard-wired. A 412GW (which has been faultless apart from a couple of 'Format Card' issues (usually goes away after turning off & on again) and a 522 with the plug-in rear view camera which has had several issues ('Format Card' and not turning on with the ignition). A 'Factory Reset' sorted it out however.

BOTH dashcams are permanently hard-wired and come on with the ignition - however this seems to kill the internal battery as they both last seconds when the external power is cut.

Nice-looking dashcams and easy to use but I have a feeling that there are better ones out there!

£69 is decent for both front & rear cameras - however the 'eyeball' rear camera must be hard-wired to the main (front) dashcam unit.

Yes I have to agree with a lot of you that nextbase has a lot of problems, I have had 2 dash cams in the past and both failed. Overheating 🥵 was the main problem, the other issue was it you had to constantly reboot it . NIGHTMARE. The other issue was there aftercare was terrible, they didn’t want to know. Now I use BLACKVUE now , I have 3 in different vehicles 🚗 and the performance is fantastic, I know they are expensive but they have never let me down and they constantly look 👀 after my vehicles day and night throughout the I cloud.

Which model do you have? Does/can it connect with a rear cam?

I have a 522GW, I paid a lot of money for it - but the screen has died making it useless

Do these or any other brand have any type of plug and play wiring kit? The wife has a Garmin in her car that powers from the OBD port making it a doddle to install in any car
