Here are a few things you should know...

Membership is free, but you'll need to opt out of 'Plus' once you've signed up.

Plus membership* costs £5 a year, which gets you an extra top up on cashback and up to 25% higher payout bonuses via rewards. If you choose to remain a Plus member, Topcashback says you'll be able to withdraw the extra £25 cashback when it's payable without having the £5 fee taken from it – that'll be paid from your yearly earnings.

You'll still get the normal cashback rate for a retailer, provider, product or service

So, if you're already planning a purchase, and it's one you can make online via Topcashback, this deal's a no-brainer. For example, at the time of writing, those new to Morrisons grocery home delivery can get £10 cashback on a £40 or more spend, so if you're new to Topcashback too, you could earn a total of £35 on your shop.

Don't have a purchase planned? You can still take advantage

You can nab the extra £25 cashback without spending unneccesarily by buying something small costing £5-ish that you're likely to use in the future. When we looked, you could get a two-pack of LED light bulbs from Argos or a four-pack of AAA batteries from B&Q for a fiver.

And be sure to check if the retailer you choose offers free click and collect, as that way you won't have to pay for delivery, which would eat into your cashback (and delivery costs don't count towards the £5 or more spend).

Important. Cashback is NEVER guaranteed

Cashback isn't a certainty as things can and do go wrong, such as a retailer or provider going into administration, or a purchase failing to track. So try to think of cashback as a nice bonus rather than relying on it, and always prioritise what the cheapest deal is overall, not on what the biggest cashback rate is. There are a few exclusions

Some retailers, providers, products and services, such as broadband contracts, mobile phone contracts and takeaway food, are excluded – before buying, check the full list below under 'More info'.

This deal can't be used alongside Topcashback's Tell-a-Friend referral scheme. Bonuses earned through the scheme will not count as a purchase that enable you to get the extra £25 cashback, and the extra £25 cashback is excluded from the payable cashback required to trigger a bonus under the scheme.
