The display spec is probably wrong. When I got it, the display was advertised as being QHD, 240HZ. It arrived as a FHD 360HZ. Left side of keyboard for me sounded like it was rattling whereas the right side didn’t. Battery life excellent thanks to the 99.99Wh battery. Looks and feels premium. Trackpad is the worst thing imaginable. It’s a rattly glass surface, with what feels like an extremely firm clicker in the middle. You can probably damage a joint after clicking more than 3 times. It’s a good value from a performance standpoint and it’s easy to open, but because of the spec inaccuracies and keyboard I personally had to return it.

If the 144HZ display is true, then the display will be poor as its colour inaccurate (62% sRGB).

Seems to be 140w GPU from the Gigabyte website.

At least in games, wattage is pretty much irrelevant for the 4050/4060/4070 as these GPUs hit a voltage limit before wattage limit. Performance beyond 90-100W limits is basically zero.

Whilst the headline 4060 is there, how or why are they still making machines with 8GB RAM?

This one has 16GB RAM, not 8. In addition, a 1TB storage drive and, above all, a much better display: 16” WUXGA 165Hz 380 cd/m² 99% sRGB ~5ms. TGP is also 140W. amazon.co.uk/Ace…9XZ Here's the official specs: acer.com/gb-…001 Personally, I'm waiting for the price to drop to £850 or less.

It's strange, it was £899 earlier and has now jumped to £1199
