sorted byI've got a midi-device (X-Touch) I use for controls on flightsims, rudder pedals that I can use to lean in FPS games, plus webcam head tracking software to move the camera wherever I'm looking...and yet I still can't work out what I'd use this for.
And that's the annoying thing about Razer - despite not actually knowing what I'd use it for, I really want to buy the bloody thing.
So comfortable and when jumping from game to game, it's brilliant to hav e the same action keys for all games.
The original was a Belkin nostromo speedpad n52, then Razer bought them.
Two issues for me:
1. The directions pad is so clicky that it's very distracting. It's not a smooth experience at all. I knew it was a d-pad but wasn't prepared for how clicky it would be as opposed to a softer style one.
2. The buttons sometimes 'stick' which is apparently very common. For example I had instances where I would be aiming down sight on FPS but it wouldn't release when I needed it to.
I've decided to return sadly. Shame because it's a clever device that could be so useful otherwise.
The thumb button is so far down that it hurts my hand.
This things poorly designed.
I've got normal/large hands
Main reason was they made "w" start on 3 so there was no row above it for weapon numbers in counter strike source.
Utterly pointless, looks like they fixed it now though and no, you couldnt just shift down because the bottom row of keys would tilt up and just felt weird.
