Is this a good deal or what are the better options for up to 90 quid? Been looking at the fnatic keyboard that is around this price

The mouse is excellent. I would of gone for the wireless if it was a tad cheaper. I use a mouse bungee and I never notice the wire. I also went to Currys to see what sort of cherry switch I would like by testing out various keyboards. If you have never used a mech keyboard it's a little difficult at first but after a couple of weeks you get used to it and you will never look at a membrane keyboard again.

how do you rate the mouse? , i might go currys and check out the keyboards as it been a while

I have one and it was my first mech keyboard. I have cherry reds and i think it great for everyday use and gaming. I also purchased a Logitech G502 at the same time.

For those wondering: Red switches = completely smooth motion until the key bottoms out (the key registers halfway down) Blue Switches = clicky, Key registers with the click. Brown Switches = Smooth motion but with a light and silent click sensation where the key registers I prefer Brown switches personally

Obviously still a great deal even with delivery, but how do companys still get away with charging nearly £10 delivery in this day and age? I wouldn't even mind if it was a monitor or a tower.

Ugh. Non standard layout. Not ISO. Cold.

These were favourably reviewed at £1k. I think they represent v good value but too big for my 6.75" wrist.

Nice watch! Same price on Amazon and FleBay though

Really like the look. Very similar to west ends that were recently produced which of course went on eBay as vintage watches in excellent condition and recently serviced.

Yeah my bad. They do make the 3902A I just assumed they would use it.

Price includes delivery.

Yup, features list on link says "Red Backlight"

Hi mate just seen two YouTube videos and the box case for this one, it’s only red lighting.

the reviews are contradictory here, please can someone confirm if this is a full RGB keyboard meaning you can change the light colour from red to any of the rainbow colours and patterns etc?. If not I can see why it's dropped largely in price thank you

Is it loud? I have Outemu blue (Cherry MX blue equivalent) switches and find them so loud and high pitched it irritates me. I'm returning them and looking for something else and found this.

Logitech G413 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Romer-G, £48.99 at amazon
Found 18th Dec 2018Found 18th Dec 2018
Black friday price.

Well, it's sold by Amazon so you get their warranty. Received mine yesterday, coming from a basic Microsoft KB this was a brease to get used to and I like it a lot! Keys are not too loud if you're not too violent with them, it's nice and compact for a full keyboard and it looks great!

People keep complaining about how the keys keep breaking (especially the control key) and it comes with no warranty. You need to pay £20 or so for a new one. Such a shame, I would have instantly bought this.

Ordered and heated, thanks OP!

If you hit them hard there is a metallic noise as they bottom out. I've only had membrane keyboards before so can't compare to other switches. Normal typing is louder than the Cherry office membrane keyboard I had before, but not much, it doesn't annoy me or others in the same room. Apparently it's one of the quietest mechanical switches. 1:36 for the G413. Also, it's SO much nicer to type on. Like, why the hell didn't I get one years ago difference. The only downside is now normal keyboards feel like typing on custard soaked sponge.

Mine arrived last week and from a quick look it was virtually silent! That said, I havent actually fully unpackaged and used it yet.

Logitech G413 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Romer-G with USB Pass Through, UK Layout - Carbon £48.99 @ Amazon

I was looking for a replacement for my ageing Steelseries 7G when I came across this on Amazon. It's the cheapest it's been according to CamelCamelCamel.

I was considering purchasing this but the reviews state that the keys break very easily and Logitech won’t replace it for free. Anyone know a good alternative good for both typing and gaming for under £50?

Back on sale

Update: The keyboard arrived yesterday. It's very well made, it feels weighty and compact. I really like the red backlight which is much more subtle than the bright white indicator LEDs on the SteelSeries I had before. The keyboard comes with a key puller and a spare set of frequently used gaming keys (12345QWERASD); this is a nice bonus, i'd still be using my SteelSeries if it had come with similar set of extra keys. With respect to the Romer-G keys, they feel a little bit more mushy than the MX blacks I was used to - I don't think this is a bad thing, they just feel different which is to be expected when changing keyboard after 5 years.

Not seeing that price point on the link anymore.... :-(

Is this good for touch typing?

Mechanical Vs membrane keyboards. It's just the way it is. Membrane keyboards are basically a printed circuit on something like mylar and a rubber membrane with carbon contacts which gets squished down over the circuit when you press your keyboard key. Mechanical have a switch for each key, gold plated contacts, spring and damping all measured and controlled to make typing a non-chore, then there's the clickity-clack aspect of how much do you want to feel the switch when it's pressed. Bruce Lee said it best. "Don't think, feel!" That's what you're paying for, and the go faster lights.

Why these keyboards are so expensive. My DELL multimedia keyboard only cost me £12

Like has been said, they DO make a noise(mechanical clicking/whirring), especially after an extended period of use, I have a few in use around house, noise does not really annoy, but its there.. FYI, do check local wickes/b&q etc, I bought mine for £1 each...reduced, kinda figured digital ones would be taking over.

Excellent warranty service, PoisidonZ had fault key press, replaced with this model within 4 days didn't have to send the old one back. Great keyboard. Software isn't good though.

Rich in essential fatty acids, freshly frozen from Captain Birdseye.

The Mrs says that’s what it tastes like

Fair enough, I would personally pick this over a Corsair any day of the week. Some might have other TT parts that they want to sync the rgb up with. Can’t help but feel you have been a little out of order for voting cold on a keyboard which is currently cheaper than it exact Corsair counter part and (IMO) has better key caps

Absolutely nothing, I love mine! It’s a big chunky keyboard, solid, the MK FX has cherry brown which are my preferred keys and there are no real negatives I can give at this price point, none whatsoever

Whats wrong with the keyboard its cheap for its features, has genuine cherry switches but seems to get a lot of negative reviews?

Do they still have this at Amazon I got one for £30. Heat added though, good keyboard.

thanks, ordered

I have the MK FX which just has RGB, but can say this is a great keyboard! The thumbster keys are excellent and allow your thumb to do more than just jump!!

No, semi mechanical means a membrane with a clicky thing on it.

'Semi mechanical' i.e. it's a membrane board that's made to 'feel' like a mechanical board.

I own the keyboard, i really like it very nice lots of options for colours and the keys feel mechanical which is really good, this keyboard is much better than my corsair k30 raptor. The quality for the price is really good and the wrist rest is comfortable, now i am looking to get their headset and mouse as the keyboard has impressed me so much.

Most important to me. Can you switch the mouse and keyboard lights off. I like to sleep without having to witness a light show in my room.

Can anyone tell me what the differences are between any if these recommended ones and This keyboard and mouse combo we've bought one of our children their first gaming pc and I need to sort periphials but don't know what benefits to look for and don't want to spend much more than £30-40 really. Thanks in advance!

TKL one looks really good - ordered as I hate red switches on my Fnatic Gear device.

Had the TKL version in my watchlist for months, but then bought the LED backlit one in this deal for ~£35 last Friday... D'oh! So far so good, lovely feel to the key presses compared to my old Microsoft/Razer Reclusa.

I might grab the TKL varient for £19.99! Even though I've also just ordered a Ducky Mini One 2.

Can you select just one colour for the backlighting? Or is it a choice between Christmas tree mode and no backlighting?
