Planet X RTD-80 Shimano Ultegra R8000 Mix Mechanical Disc Road Bike
Found 7th JunFound 7th Jun
Doesn't look like a temporary deal, so this might be the new normal, but it's nice to see a carbon-framed road bike with a (mostly) Ultegra groupset and (mechanical) discs for unde… Read more

The cubes drivetrain is £500+ to buy so a real bargain the wheelset fulcrum 77 is pretty heavy 1.74 kg (£175) get a decent set of wheels and it’ll soon lose weight

It doesn't have pedals at this price, it you don't understand that then its obviously not for you. :p

Definitely the Cube for me, I prefer the look of the Cube (personal preference I'm aware) more importantly hydraulic discs over mechanical. Down side is a 105 over Ultegra although Planet X have skimped on chainset etc. In reality not much deference between the them, have 6800 Ultegra on best bike and 5800 105 with discs on my winter ride, not much difference in operation and feel, a few grams in weight and a bit of snob value if you buy into that kind of thing.

I’d go cube personally full 105 kit whereas the planetX has got a FSR crankset, plus the brakes are shimano not avid, do like that grey as well, it’s a kg heavier but 9kg ok for me when I could do with losing a few legs that’d be a few pies cheaper than paying hundreds on a bike

Ah I noticed your comments and subsequently deleted mine. But you must have replied at the same time. Glad to hear that you are enjoying it. Agreed - will definitely keep an eye out!

Indeed. It changed not long after I ordered it. After using it for a few days now I'm really impressed with it, build quality is great and the thing comes with a 24 month warranty which is good! The US layout really isn't a problem for me at all I can use either. If you're after a new keyboard I'd keep an eye on this because if it comes back on offer it's a helluva lot of keyboard for 15 quid! RGB, full size w/ number pad & mechanical - can't really go wrong.

Keyboard came today and I am typing on it now. It's my first mech and I've got it to connected to my laptop and it's a really good upgrade from the mushy keyboard I am used to. It seems good quality, really can't go wrong for the price. Still getting used to it but I can certainly recommend it if it comes back of offer.

Gone back to full price now (£49.99 that is, not even £32.99) Glad I saw this last night.. I did want a ten keyless if I'm being fussy, but at this price I don't really mind either!

I've been searching for a mechanical keyboard for the past couple of weeks and had it narrowed down to 3 in my basket and cheapest was £26.99 so I'll take this all day. Brilliant price for a mechanical board. Heard good reviews too for this board, just ordered one. I'll update when it arrives.

Yep, I picked on up after my Logitech G910 started giving me grief. Payed £49.99 a few weeks ago. It's fantastic for the cost, pretty pleased with it so far.

Oh ok, so there's a fair few benefits. Thanks for the information. (highfive)

While I like the response above me, I do agree with you that the price is extortionate. I got this same keyboard back in 2014 (identical bar the new colours, mine only glows green) as well as a Razer naga mouse at 50% off for around £100 total. I wouldn’t have paid any more for that even now after these ones I have are starting to show their age.

Backlit; easy typing in low light // mechanical switch keys; more pleasant/defined typing // No key rollover; when pressing multiple keys, it won't lock up like a Wilko keyboard would // Macro keys; lets you rapidly executed complex or monotonous commands // Media/function keys; quickly & easily operate common app/Windows functions. Just a few benefits, there will be more.

Mechanical keys are far more Responsive than your average membrane keyboard. They provide less resistance per press, giving you an edge in terms of execution speed. There are other benefits besides, anti ghosting means you can press more than five keys at a time and still get commands off, there are extra keys for macros also. Basically the extra money goes into the lighting, keys and fringe benefits such as the software that comes with it for full remapping, to some that is worth paying extra. You can certainly do cheaper, but branding is a big part of the price also.

Maybe it's just me but £110 seems extortionate for a keyboard. Unless it can play the game (or write my essay) for me I don't really see why it needs to be so much. Can someone explain to where the £105 extra value is over a £4.99 keyboard from wilkos? (Haven't voted either way)

Nah I didn’t conceal it , love the keyboard as well. I was going to get another for my dad but the price went back up!

Did you opt to conceal contents? That's what I did but it still came in original box... Brilliant keyboard though. Can esee it lasting me many years.

Same. The delivery driver told me that he has one of these too.

Just received the keyboard it was delivered in the original Corsair packaging but no outer box so it was visible to delivery driver that it was a keyboard

A g910 for £40?

Design wise I’m not a fan of the G910, but I can see why it would appeal to some.

It's a good price. However I'm waiting for the G910 to get back in stock at Game as they sell for 39.99. If you aren't in a hurry, I'd wait for the aforementioned.

According to my Deal posted specifically for the £6 offer, it can be account specific. Apologies.

Picked this up for similar price recently and love it Nice feel to keys Not too noisy and red glow classier than some of the vomited Skittles you can find

buy sticky white paper and cut out SSD size. Stick it on top so it hides the horrible crucial design.

Thankfully, in this free world we don't have to understand all of the choices other people make (especially something as innocuous as aesthetic and lighting in your PC case choices), and it's perfectly okay to not like what other people do.

I can't undertand this people with lighting everywhere, keyboards are "ok", sometimes are useful... but the rest are just useless annoyances

It's odd - I 100% replied to this yesterday, apparently the comment went into moderation, then disappeared lol. It doesn't distract me, but there's a few factors: 1. I've got the main RGB strip set to a dark purple now which is very unobtrusive, 2. the pics are from my old Galaxy Note 4 and are quite overexposed exaggerating the effect you see here, and 3. a little ambient light is actually very good for your eyes when playing at night. I'm not as much of a fan of the flashing rainbows looking like the Las Vegas skyline on an acid trip, but a more subtle and static colour combination has become very pleasing to me now.

Still not opened mine from last year when I got one. I'm quite used to my Corsair K70 Browns that the G910 will be a backup or something I guess as the travel seems quite different and I like a bit of a tactile feel. For 40 quids though, cheaper than the knockoffs for a backup haha.

Using it now. Had it over a year and no issues. Are sure it's this version as they do different ones. Just looking for a backup or one for different computer

What do you mean you can't buy the keycaps, both the original and the Orion Spectrum smooth keycaps are available in UK layout. I would agree about the RGB somewhat though, my keyboard had a discolouring on one key and it took Logitech a full 7 weeks to reply to my support request. I can't fault them after they responded but it was the sheer amount of wait time that annoyed me. The odd thing was my dodgy key seemed to fix its colouring issues after a while and the keyboard now works fine again (2 1/2 years old). (y)

The rgbs stop working after a while so it wont display the right colors and logitech have released pretty much nothing in terms of illumination routines and you cant even get new keycaps. Its a good kb especially for 40, but if youre buying full price, support a company that actually develops their products,

They probably had one or two in stock ;(

I got the full size one yesterday. My first ever mechanical keyboard. It’s loud but I love the clicky noise it makes. Only used at home so nobody else to annoy. Being new to mechanical keyboards where would I buy replacement keys should I need them?

bought one of these about a month ago for the usual price of £22, really like it but it is loud

Decent price op. Hot. I'm after a backlit keyboard, with brown switches and a number pad.

Great build quality with very responsive tactile keys however can be loud. Keys do fade away had mine since september and its great. Great budget mechanical keyboard for gaming. Aluminium base board so very sturdy

I have this keyboard right now (in fact typing on it). Great for the price, the keys are a little too close together but that is usually expected with a ten keyless keyboard

They look black white, rather than blue. (ninja)

Yuck Blue switch. Unbearable.

+1 If you need to look down to see what key to press that is a bigger problem than what keyboard you have :).

I've used this keyboard for a year ( just replaced with Logitech g910 spectrum). It's very loud but strong and heavy enough not to go skating around the desk on heavy gaming sessions.

Best price around.

People see Tag and vote cold. People see Apple and vote cold. 99% of hukd users don't have the intelligence to be able to understand that it's a 'deals' website. If this watch is not availble new, from a reputable seller anywhere else for a lower price, then how is it not a good deal for the watch? The I can get a watch for 5 quid posters only post because they have nothing better to do then watch Jeremy Kyle and grow weed in the spare room. Although most tag movements are lesser then it's closer counterparts you still have to understand you are paying for a watch that has been made to a far superior standard and with far superior materials.

Don’t forget to pick up some black lugs to go with it - only £850!! wtf?

I’ve voted this hot. Luxury watches in general aren’t well received on here though; prepare for the many “I can get one of these for £10 comments” 🙈
