same question then - where do you buy a £10 timex, pls post so we can all benefit that amazing deal

I said the timex was £10, I didn't specify the price of gshocks.

where can i get a gshock for £10?

The hands are coated with super luminova so not technically white. Has a yellow/green tinge. You’ll be able to see the time fine but yea, I’m not really a fan of a white dial (y)

The watch hut is still selling the the black face version for £1935 so that's a deal even though I'm not loving the white dial

Hi guys, I ended up purchasing this keyboard. It arrived today and the number 8 buttons light is inactive. BUT the button works. I don't want to wait a week for the item to be returned and processed. I rather be refunded partially for the slight damage. Is that possible? I live far the actual store. Any advice? Thank you :)

Does anyone know how the keys compare to a SideWinder X4? Mine's still going strong but the keys aren't removable and there's a decade of gunk and probably rot underneath the keys. Both are gaming keyboards and from what I've read both have a short key depth.

All keys should sound the same. Does it feel the same. like depth of push ect?

Received mine today. The A key action sounds different to all the other keys around it. Is this normal?

Picked mines up today. Very nice, first time using a mechanical. The fun parts setting the colour scheme, takes a bit of getting used to. It is pretty loud tho, but i game with headphones on so no complaints.

FYI, this is now £11.17 with Gearbest's current Fashion promo (reductions taken off when you go to Checkout). Did a Deal post with some other watches mentioned One review said it has 40 Hour Power Reserve, but maybe there are QC issues (?). Suspect so, from viewing a few. Also, Relative Time's review of the "Hulk" (Green) T801A is very informative: There's also a duel video comparing the Tevise to the Invicta Pro Diver 8927OB, from Perth Watch:

Thanks for that, might give them a try.

I’ve used DH loads of times (y) Everything has always turned up. Some stuff arrives within a couple of weeks, others a bit longer. Only ever had one broken item and I was sent a replacement. Always wanted to try DHgate, they any good/reliable? i.e. does stuff actaully show up?

I bought a factory referb K70 from scan about a year ago. The first one had problems, some leds not working. Luckily the warranty was direct from corsair so they sent me another k70 (which took about 2 weeks) which was mostly fine but has slight a buzzing sound when at full brightness. Thankfully you cant really hear it unless you put your ear close to the keyboard. Overall experience, poor. Wouldnt go through that again.

Seems to be some Scan haters ! I find Scan great even in the early days.

If you dont mind blue switches you could have a look at the following which are under £30 Redragon K552 KUMARA or K551 or the VARA AUKEY Mechanical Keyboard TeckNet Mechanical Keyboard They all are the same board under diff manufacturers - all are 87/88 key compact keyboards using Outemu Blue Switches. Good build quality, Acceptable for the price If you want red, white, black, brown, blue cherry mx switches then youll need to pay more. Have a scout around and see if you can pick up a Filco, Ducky or Das boards if you want something better.

😋 I was baiting them for a reply

Personally I think it looks horrible. Skeleton watches are bad enough but to put in a square case :p can't believe the price either.

Aren’t these watches fairly common place. It just a standard automatic movement in them and a skeleton design. Not saying I can find exactly the same but similar is out there (e.g. this ) Personally if I was spending this much, I’d rather get a watch from a watch maker with a bit more rep. I appreciate this invicta watch doesn’t have the same “edgy” design, but it’s automatic, has an “open heart” exposing some of the workings, and is cheaper. Edit Sorry the first link doesn’t work as hukd doesn’t like AliExpress, but here’s a screen shot of the watch I mentioned - not promoting AliExpress, just showing what exists on world markets that don’t conform with HUKDs posting rules

MK90 is a cracking keyboard. The Kaihl red switches used are the equivalent of Cherry Red and you won't know the difference. Unfortunately Asus have just rebranded the accompanying Q-pad software (which is pants) rather than writing their own. I'd recommend only using this software to edit key colours, write macros etc and not allow it to run in the tray at Windows Startup. Since profiles and macros are stored on the keyboard, the only reason for running it all the time is for automatic profile switching, which just doesn't work. It's also worth noting that if you don't need the mouse, you can get an MK-90 on Amazon at the moment for £68.62

Yes I wanted cherry switches (lol) never thought of that before

So, cherry switches...? At least, now? (excited)

Had this before I spilled pepsi max on it it comes with Kaikua switches

I have this bundle from a previous deal on ocUK: keyboard is a great bit of kit but the Mouse is a bit silly; the thumb buttons are structured in such a way that you cannot easily reach the front thumb-button with your thumb (unless you have particularly long fingers); as a result I would not recommend this mouse if you use palm grip for mouse control during gaming.

FUNC-KB-460-UK  KB-460 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with Cherry MX Red Switches - £37.75 @ CPC Farnell

Bought one of these for myself and my nephew who is an avid gamer and has no complaints. Review

Did anybody recieve this? I bought one but have received an email cancelling my order

It's built well. Has since been rebranded when Func was bought by Fnatic. I have the Fnatic Gear Rush which is the same keyboard. Has Cherry MX Red Silent switches on my version and a proper stabiliser bar on each of the longer keys, not double guide stems which are more wobbly (a la the Corsair Strafe RGB I bought). I returned the Corsair as the Fnatic went down in price from £80 to £67, so at this price it's a steal! I couldn't get it because it's not the Cherry MX Silents, but otherwise, yes. Go for it. Works in WIndows 10.

I bought one of these with Cherry Blues in it back in 2015, great keyboard definitely worth it at this price!

One of the best made keyboards I've ever owned. I bought mine year before my mates bought Corsair K70 's and these are nearly dead. Lights have gone on theirs but mine is golden and I play twice too three times more then them. I was hoping it would die so I could get an RGB keyboard, but no it just keeps going.

It's probably about 5 years old - still a great keyboard nonetheless. Cherry switches and decent build quality + wrist rest. Not bad at £40, though was cheaper in previous years.

Browns ;) Perfect balance of speed and tactile feedback ....

I understand the spec, I was more just griping because I like switches with some tactile feedback that are clacky enough to wake the neighbours

Cherry Red switches have the lowest actuation time and resistance out of all the standard Cherry switches, so they have the quickest response time when pressed which is why nearly all "gaming" keyboards have Reds. However it makes them less suitable for typing because they have almost no feedback.

Why are all the gaming keyboard deals always for MX Red switches! Nice deal anyway (y)

I have this board, got it cheap during Maplins closing sale. What I like: • USB on the back for charging • Buttons come off easy, helps with cleaning & replacing keys • Braided cable that unplugs, great for when you need to clean your desk. • Cherry keys great for FPS gaming. • Pre-Programmed lighting effects (no software to change this) • Aluminium body that's cold, looks great and feels sturdy • Deactivate windows key when gaming

Looking for a new keyboard and I thought this was an absolute bargain considering it has proper cherry mx switches. *Potentially US Layout!
Get dealGet deal

Bought two of these from CCL a few months ago (for only a slightly higher price :) ) The ones they sent were definitely UK layout. (Same Manufacturer code in my email invoice as this deal is listed on the website, so presumably the same thing.)

It clearly states 'UK QWERTY' under the Specification tab. A little bit of further reading never hurts! Anyway, I bought this keyboard from CCL a few months ago; and I can confirm that it is the UK layout model.

104 key mentioned, and that manufacturer code seems to only link to US layout too. Given that so many software vendors now ignore the existence of the UK, i guess its wont be surprising when UK keyboards disappear too. Bit dodgy of CCL calling it UK layout when its also stated as 104 key

Contacted support about confirming US or UK layout. It appears they can't be bothered replying, they even have an option box to ask about the product. Shame as if it was a UK layout, I would have purchased.

Thank god this is not MX Blues or I'd have yet another mech keyboard!

I use mine when working from home and in the office, haven't had any complaints about the noise, think it probably sounds worse to the user than co-workers I also like the fact that it hasn't got a numbers pad, makes it smaller to transport, easier to centralize when I work with it on my knee, also more ergonomic because I don't have to move my hand as far from keyboard to mouse. If you don't do a lot of number crunching and you've never used a keyboard without number pad, you should give it a try :)

£25 after the code now

I've got one of these, its a great keyboard for the money. Surprisingly well built, even has a metal base in fact this could save your life when the zombie apocalypse hits and you don't have a snooker cue to had (and Queen on the radio) XD Only downside It's rather loud, so not great for an open plan office or hangovers!!!

Happy with mine, but certainly wouldn't use it around others as it is very loud. The keycaps are very cheaply printed, the markings will vanish after just a few weeks use. I believe they are cherry keycap compatible so they can be replaced.

I just realised this and cancelled my order. Shame about that, I was looking forward to having one :(

I've got the Rotring 500 and it's great to write/draw with. What I like the most about it is that it's got some weight to it (because it's metal.)

This one by Rotring looks nice (also available in black) and I'm sure works great for sketching.

For serious technical drawing the Rotring 600 is the best value even at its normal price, so for under £20 this is a steal! My only gripe with the 600 is that the length of 'used' leads (when it won't extend any further) is relatively long, and it does have a tendency to break leads before that too. For writing I much prefer the Pilot Automac which is more friendly to hold, and it has an auto lead feed so you literally don't need to click the end every 30 seconds. For both of these I would recommend you buy the leads with the same respective brand - Ryman and other cheap ones often don't fit properly and they can break more. Back to the longer length spent leads, I put them in the Pilot Automac and get about 1/3 more writing out of them! That's why I have one of each. For sketching, I wouldn't recommend either of these. The 0.5mm lead is way too fine for expressive strokes and shading, I guess it may be okay for really light watercolour before painting. There are mechanical pencils with pencil lead style leads which are much better for sketching - I believe these are known as 'lead holders'. Lead holders go from 1.8mm and up, and allow for softer grade leads. Check out the three at the bottom of this comparison page.

Well, thanks guys! I have now purchased two mechanical pencils and I’m not entirely sure why???

My rival 300 lasted 6 months

Had the rival 300 for 2/3 years and only just started to show wear on the rubber sides. Albeit purchased the 310 when it first came out and sides fell off, they replaced it immediately and not had any issues with this replacement. I can only say from my side that if the 310 lasts 2/3 years longevity won't be a problem but their customer service was excellent.

Decent deal but having owned 2 steelseries mice which broke in six months of moderate use or less; I can not recommend them. While they work they are great but the don't work very long, steelseries products are not built to last and from what I have read and seen I am not the only one have problems with longevity.

Might be cold because very briefly the keyboard was £89.99 and the going price for the mouse is £30ish. Although this is currently the cheapest deal for the keyboard even without the mouse. The keyboard is very nice but beware that while the keys have lots of travel they register strokes with almost no force, I keep registering ; by just having my fingers on the home keys. The mouse is okay, but I wish I'd paid the extra for the Rival 600.

Im wondering why this deal is going to be cold? I know that keyboard on its own is overpriced but its bundle for price of keyboard only.

You already proved it some time ago. Everything since has just been overkill.

I am not having an argument I am proving a point

I’m just responding to your comments. I find it odd that you believe everyone is that petty that ‘they have to get the last word’; does it make you feel better if you do? Anyway, this is hardly the correct platform for discussing much other than good deals. I suggest you take your desire to have an argument and vent your anger on one of the many public chat forums. Perhaps you can ‘prove your point’ (whatever it is) there. :)

Have you any other means of trying to get the last word, you are just proving my statement so it is truth. Avoiding the link does not by pass the facts.
