About this deal

Just picked up a pair of these Asics gel nimbus 25, now an extra 20% off. The 26 is out now but still a very comfortable daily trainer. There are various colour ways available and also a 4E extra wide fitting for the same price.

My partner gets blisters on the balls of her feet, does anyone have the same issue, would these be suitable?
    Good price for them, btw

I am not sure anyone will be able to give you an answer unfortunately.

Every foot is going to be slightly different and a shoe that fits one person might not work for someone else.

Blisters may well be an issue that she can solve with suitable socks, 1000 Miles, Hilly and More Miles all do socks that claim to be anti blister so maybe try those out first. (edited)

Been using the nimbus for over a decade, and these are horrible.
Easy to go over on your ankle if the ground isnt perfectly level and generally uncomfortable.

Look like Hokas now compared to previous iterations I've got.

I was thinking about getting the 26. But at this price plus an extra 10% off for being my 1st order, make this a no brainer. Bought for £87.16. Make sure you join OneAsics (free) and get free delivery, free returns and a 90 day full use trial of any shoes you buy from them (edited)

I think that's for the asics standard site bud, the t&C's say it only applys on asics.com, not outlet.asics.com

It seems ASICS have ditched the 'Gel' as it's more expensive to produce and out together for a massive wedge of foam that has zero stability. Worse than Nike Shox. This was always ASICS problem. They made them nice and comfy but no one cared as long as they were. Never mind if they were/are any good for you as a runner. Buy up the awards people and pourpousefully under produce to create a war between retailers for your product. (edited)

Absolutely crazy comments. Yes there is still gel, and this is generally agreed to be one of the comfiest and best max cushion shoes of 2023. I love mine for anything from 5-30km slow runs.

It’s discounted because the 26 has been out a while but it’s hardly any different.
