About this deal
Potentially a bit niche for the lawn geeks!!
Hayter is considered the Rolls Royce of mowers and I was just looking for a petrol version but I'm falling out of love with the maintenance of older petrol mowers.
This is a new model at 43% off the RRP, 3 years warranty, weighted rear roller for stripes etc.
The price on the website of £384 does not include the free battery and charger - which are expensive.
I currently have 3 mowers and hoping this can replace all of them.
A 4ah battery can supposedly comfortably mow 200m2+
This deal was available in few places but seems to be finishing so if you are keen get in quick

sorted byNote these are not as heavy as the petrol versions (approx 25kg as opposed to 35+kg)
Plus less to go wrong.
I did drag out my qualcast 35s (all 38kg of it) to see what pushing something would be like and on my flat lawn it will be fine. (edited)
My 3yr old Yard force needs a new battery, and I'd rather upgrade to this than shell out £75 for a new battery
Looks like a nice bit of kit. Bought
Thanks again for posting
Unfortunately I’ve just reseeded so no mowing needed for a week or two
Of note it is a good 10kg lighter than the hayter harrier 41 petrol.
So this is a bit of a compromise of lighterweight ease of use vs the heavier weight stripe machine.
it is heavy, and quite hard to turn and get in up against walls , the handle is not adjustable and makes the mower really long.
i find it quite hard to get my lines right so I can miss bits. And the stripes aren’t even that good compared to my previous lighter Bosch rotak - wish I didn’t get rid of it when I got this one.
i found grass can get trapped in the chute as well and the box can trap some grass when emptying.
all mostly minor stuff but would have my Bosch back any day.
saying that this is still a good deal with the battery and charger
You could easily pick up several Rotaks for the price you would get for your Hayter.
I've bought it and have no regrets. I upgraded from a Hayter Spirit which was a push mower as well, this Hawk is so much easier manoeuvre.
