About this deal

For those who are loyal to the iPhone mini size, this seems like the best route to get as close to new with the option to run AppleCare+ for longevity. It may not represent the best value in terms of a phone, but those who want a Mini this is probably the best route.

Like new examples go for £370-390 from third parties. The Apple Refurbished will be practically new with a new battery as well.

Thanks OP. Been meaning to pick this up now that the mini line is discontinued. Will be supported for another four years or so.

It’s a little more expensive directly from Apple but can be confident in battery/add Apple care etc. Been burnt before by some other online refurbished sellers and sometimes it’s a bit of a lottery. (edited)

Received my yesterday, so far very pleased. Arrived in immaculate condition, as if it was brand new…

Cold. Paid £217 for the same phone (ok, in pink) on eBay. Came in brand new conditions with original box.

Just in case someone else wants one are these still available or did you get lucky bidding for it ?

Ooof, do I upgrade my iPhone 12 mini to a 13 mini while I still have an opportunity to do so with AppleCare?

On one hand, battery is starting to go a bit naff again after a replacement ~15 months ago, screen scratches more apparent. 13 minis have slightly better batteries, cameras, processors and presumably will be supported a bit longer.

On the other hand, is it really worth £400+ for slight improvements? Probably not… But if there’s never going to be another mini size iPhone might as well get the final gen, right? But we all thought the iPhone SE 1 would be the last small iPhone but I had that for like 5 years…

iPhone mini 16 with USB-C would be ideal. One can hope…

I've just bought one of these to replace my existing 13 mini at 86% battery and dodgy charge port. Its in excellent condition other than that so I should get half the money back selling it and have what is essentially a brand new 13 mini to last as long as possible or until a possible Apple U-turn on minis.

Very good deal. Kept an eye on both Argos and Apple Refurb never thought they would appear refurb so bought one of the last from Argos at £599 only in November 🤦🏻 Very happy with it but be happier with it this price!

are there any similar sized android phones that are maybe a little cheaper? most seem to be huge these days

Ordered a Used 13 Mini in Green from eBay for £264.99 in 'Good Condition' if it arrives battered then I'll be returning it and getting this I think!
Quick Q can I use a Gift Card of £30 for example and remainder on their Financing? Or just one or the other situation with Apple?

My 12 mini is amazing, it's a great phone for anyone into outdoor adventures. Mine's a staple for trail running, hardly feel it in my running belt.

I was a pound out, it’s £85 for battery replacement.

I think your right, probably £150 to £200 so was worth you getting the replacement phone

Just for reference - I paid £399 last June for a "like new" pink 13 mini from giffgaff. It was in mint condition, 100% battery. That's since gone down to 97%. Don't know why I added that in there. Anyway - £419 direct from Apple is a good deal.
