Lidl have their Espresso Cremoso (100% arabica) at £8.99 for 1.2Kg at present.

And most 100% arabica is going to taste better than a cheap robusta blend, which I assume this deal is.

Probably a fair price for them. The usual price on Amazon is absurd for something that's part robusta.

Robusta is what you need for the crema and extra caffeine in a Neopolotan style espresso, but agreed I don't think this is a deal.

Especially when these have such a long "shelf life" and could have been roasted yonks ago, don't have any fairtrade / ethical credentials etc.

Put these into my basket this afternoon at the price posted [£8.99], came back this evening and the price had change i.e. increased by a £1; Good job I noticed before I placed the order...I would rather not deal/do business with a company that operates in this underhand way. BE WARNED. (edited)

what is underhand about price changes? most companies change the prices of items on a regular basis.

Decent...ordered a few (I've never ordered from Discount Dragon though they must just put me on a new mailing list from Yankee Bundles ? as the 5% first customer code doesn't arrive for me).

    Thanks OP, ordered

Also tried ordering for boyf's address and their website has definitely changed from the days they were Yankee Bundles....they are now charging Remote Area Delivery at £5.99 (This is a Mainland UK address, 20 miles from Fort William, which didn't incur charges before).

We got a few bags of these bundled at work with our new espresso machine. Let's say it's surprising how many complaints we got about the quality of beans even after it was professionally dialled in!

Price is not correct. Its 9.99 not 8.99

See my comment above...it was originally £8.99 but within a few hours DD upped it to £9.99.

These are now £4.99, but max 1 per customer now, not sure that is the better deal
