Warranty from idoodirect doesn’t mean anything. I’ve had a machine from them that went faulty and I pestered them for support, (after they initially ignored me). Eventually they blocked me on eBay.

Had to get a specialist to replace a sensor that ended up costing £230.

When I initially purchased it, first machine was not in the “good” condition stated, they did promptly replace it. However second machine burrs were completely a gonner.

Third machine was damaged, I had to Frankenstein the removable components (drip tray and hopper) from the second machine.

In summary, I would avoid especially for something so expensive.

    Lesson learnt I guess (edited)

Yes be vigilant. One machine I received looked like it had been used for target practice (described as good condition). I would only venture for a machine in excellent/refurb condition from them if I purchased again. DPD were a nightmare with 3 x non-collection of its return, had to drop it off at a parcel shop in the end, can't blame the seller for that though.

I would say give it a go but be prepared to be disappointed if you get a duff one and need to send it back.

I got a refurbished unit from these guys in early 2020 and it was brilliant. It came with some accessories were specially not included and was in flawless physical condition save for being filthy.

Their used units might be the ones that don't qualify for refurb. Also, I got mine for £192 so although I know prices are up, this doesn't sound like a good deal

That genuinely looks like someone bashed it a few times with a claw hammer. Maybe someone was sending a unit for replacement and knocked it about so it wouldn't get resold... only for it to get resold anyway (edited)
