    Unless I'm mistaken, cheaper to buy 4 x 3 months (£5.79 x 4 = £23.16) here instead.

    no mistake

Anyone know what the conversion would be for existing ultimate members? The other deal has expired.

12 months Gold converts to 4 months Ultimate for existing members.

Its worth noting that CDkeys have in the past just sent 4x3 month codes instead of a 12 month code. So 4x3 months would give 200 days which is a lot better. No guarantee you would receive 4x3 though so would be risky.

Thx for post but the one posted earlier is a lot better.
This is likely just four 3 month codes anyways and costs more. (edited)

I suspect that’s what it is as I purchased a “12month” code from cdkeys 1 month ago and it was 4 codes

Bit confused so any help would be appreciated, ultimate ran out two weeks ago.

    So in theory I would

    - Buy this deal x 3 (12 month gold giving me 3 years)
    - Use it on my xbox account
    - Turn off recurring billing
    - Buy 1 x 1 month ultimate
    - Claim and it will convert my account to 2 years ultimate?
    stedaman's avatar
Yes get 3 years of gold, that would convert to 2 years of GPU (60 days per code).
Make sure recoccuring is off. After first gold code entry u may or may not get a bonus of 1 month to turn reoccuring bill on, obviously if u do turn it on, then turn it off again, and rinse repeat per gold code.
I must say i've not seen many people get this offer so not sure how it works but its worth at least trying.
After all gold is added that u want (the best is obviously 3 years worth of gold), then u convert, i would check on Microsoft first to see if u get a £1 offer otherwise use cdkeys £7.99 offer.
This will get you 2 years 1 month (1 month GPU), you can then add upto 3 years with more gold cards at conversion 50-52 days instead of 60 days. (edited)

And the exchange rate if 1:1 unsuited has changed too.

Now 3 months to 60 days

And subbed is 3 months to 50 days
    awesomegiles26's avatar
Is this the case if you let your GPU expire, claim the gold codes, then on Xbox website sign up to GPU i.e converting to ultimate? I did this the other month and it was 1:1

ok, just bought and want to get ultimate, so I can play on PC, I want to play Flight Simulator.
Can i just buy 1 month of GPU for £6.79 and it converts all 1 2?
Edit, is the ultimate worth getting if I only want to play on the pc, my xbox one console is old and takes ages to load up whereas my pc is quite new and plays everything no problem, I also want to try any VR games that they have.
edit 2, bought for £6.79 and coverted 12 months gold down to 9 months GPU (edited)

There is no point in Ultimate unless you want Cloud gaming. Gamepass PC is all you need for PC. Its available direct from Microsoft for £7.99 a month, you would have to search what pre paid codes cost, work out if doing a Gold to Ultimate conversion is still cheaper or not. But if Gamepass PC works out cheaper thats all you need for PC.

I see you said you have already done the conversion to Ultimate. Once Ultimate expires and your still only using PC then look into Gamepass PC if that works out cheaper than Ultimate. (edited)

Just signed up for 3 years of gold and trying to convert to ultimate. looks like you now only get 3:2 conversion rate, is this correct or is there another way to keep the full amount?
    rs990's avatar
That is correct, it was changed a short while ago. If you want a full three years of GPU, you will need to top up with seven 3 month cards once you have done the conversion (that gives you an extra 350 days)
  8. scottbcw's avatar
Bought it since my GPU is expired I got 4 separate codes
    scottbcw's avatar
I just did it and it worked out 1:1

Aren’t Microsoft ditching Gold? Switching to something like Game Pass basic? Be very happy if someone out there knows what’s going on

A friend purchased 3 of these 12month codes yesterday evening from CD Keys and I can confirm he received 4 x 3 month codes for each one.

Poor deal if using this to add to Ultimate
    eldaniel's avatar
Is there any better live deal available then?
  12. abaidsajjad's avatar
    Any ultimate codes
  13. Tactical_Reaper666's avatar
Getvthis while you can still upgrade to ultimate as soon they will be ending gold it will just be game pass so good if you memberships is running out this month as think its September when all changes
    Oakley777's avatar
Hi, If I buy 12 months now will I lose it when ultimate comes in. Thank you.
  14. stedaman's avatar
can anyone confirm that this is 4v3 month codes and not one 12 month code?
It's important to not use 12 month codes when already subbed as the conversion is a lot less,
you need 1 month or 3 month codes, but 1 month codes are not cheap enough ever it seems.
12 month card = 4 months (120 days) compared to 4x3 month cards = (200 days min, sometimes u get 51 or 52 days on a code so u may end up with 200-208 days). (edited)
    dalehitchy's avatar
Thanks for the info. Why does 4x3 month subs get you more days when you are already subbed as opposed to a 12 monther when your already subbed

Hi, just to check, if I already have a live Xbox Ultimate Gamepass sub, and I buy a 3 month Games With Gold and add it to my account, it will convert to 50 extra days of Ultimate?

I ask as I thought conversion only worked on a brand new account or an account where the gamepass is currently inactive.
    mossmanfly's avatar
Yes, if you redeem a 3 month Gold code and you have Ultimate already, it adds 50 days. It doesn't give you the option to convert or anything. Once you enter the code and redeem it, the next page details your new Ultimate expiry date, then you accept it, and the code is redeemed.

Microsoft has a full table of what you get for redeeming different codes that aren't Ultimate.

I wonder if this is the last of the cheap 1 month GPU codes now? or if it is currently a temporary thing. I don't play console gaming enough to justify even a full month of full-priced GPU. I am currently loading up on Gold (while it lasts) so that I can convert them with a cheap GPU at some point, but it's looking like about 6.99 is the cheapest - has anyone seen any better deals than this out there?
  17. ToughRecoil's avatar
so I already have 2 years of ultimate and want to top it up to 3 years (thats the maximum i guess?) what would be the best option for me? which one should I buy and how do I convert and how much would it cost? please advice the best option for me. Thank you
    stedaman's avatar
you need cheap 3 month gold cards, you could try to wait for the price to drop again, they will give you 50-52 days per card.
  18. scottbcw's avatar
Cheers op gpu expired did it through website got 1:1
    iby2012's avatar
Oh, though quite a few had said it isn't 1:1 when unsubbed.

Mine ends in November. Guess it will definitely be gone by then.

What’s the best current deal to do for someone who’s not signed up and got a £1 for 14 days offer ?
and do cd keys always send the 12 month has x3 3 month codes ? Cheers
