I'm here right now and honestly I want to blow my brains out. Kids love it but it's hot (I go to Cyprus every year in August for comparison) and the queues are long and I'm knackered. But the kids are so happy.

    Can I ask their ages?

Me and the wife use to go Florida but have a two year old.

We would like to go back but only when when he is old enough.

Theme parks will be pretty busy, just a heads up.

Are people really happy to stay in a hotel with only 3.5 out of 5 rating?!
    WalkerboyUK's avatar
For most people the hotel is really just a base camp for sleeping. Rest of the holiday you’re likely to be out and about. As long as the rooms are clean, safe and secure I couldn’t care less about the rating.

This deal will be your smallest cost. If you are going as a family of four and want to fully immerse yourselves in all that Florida has to offer, add another £5,000 at least.

So many Orlando deals flying around at the moment.

The problem for most is long lines for the good rides in the parks. Not only taking into account the park ticket prices. For example three days in Disney your looking at £1200.

Add then the price of food even outside of the parks your looking at 100 plus dallors a time for four people. And that's being conservative.

Getting there is the cheap part even at full hotel/flight prices.

I reckon for a family of four your looking at 3k just to eat that's a full meal at night. Your quick service breakfast and then some hot food and snacks as you go about the parks/out and about in the car.

I've added a couple of recent bills. These are not from the theme park. So little cheaper but you get the idea. Second imagine is from a delivery. 52808508-JXp3d.jpg52808508-btrsC.jpg

It's the same allover the us now! It's too bad for them because wages are higher but for us I'm blighty the difference is insane

Good deal. Love florida. Lots of stuff fun to do outside the parks too. You don't have to spend the entire 2 weeks at Disney . Shame car rentals are extortionate these days I remember when I was younger it was included in almost all the packages

1991 was the last time I went, I remember everything being super cheat I'm sure it was something like £1 = $2 back then. Like you say car rental was always in the package, we went 90 and 91, still got my Disney pass somewhere

Seems very cheap, but I've never been to the US, let alone here. Is there a catch? (edited)
    Nickdalts's avatar
I guess it’s because it’s in term time. Still cheap though

cant believe the car hire costs from pre covid

l hear this a lot these days, l’ve not been to Florida for 6 years. We were thinking April next year, anyone know rough costs for like 2 weeks, mini van size, all in after hidden charges?
  10. Leonski_1988's avatar
I paid this price just for my TUI flight alone for first week of July……
  11. Psychobunni's avatar
The average temp is 28 degrees in June but it's been much higher than this in the past few weeks so take that with a pinch of salt. We got back recently and most of the time it was 34-36 degrees with full sun which is very full-on when you're at the theme parks!

I am looking for a holiday to USA for 2 adults and 2 children next year….for similar price…would it be possible to book this one for next year?

We stayed there in 2014, room on top floor with roof bar and pool access. Room was great, modern and brilliant views. If I remember correctly breakfast was a bit manic. Walking distance to a lot of restaurants and a small waterpark just up the street.

We actually left another hotel cos it was scandalous and were very happy to stay here. Were very surprised how cheap it was compared to the other hotel but night and day in terms of welcome and cleanliness (edited)
