sorted byIt may well be cheaper to run, but how many years will you have to run it to make back the extra money you spent on it in the first place?
Regarding noise, who can even hear the motor? The bulk of the noise from fans is the blades cutting through the air, far louder than the motor!
I rarely use the middle speed of my 45w fan, never mind the hurricane that is top speed, lol!
