All one need now is to find £29.99 worth of out of date expensive items to make it up to £30 minimum.

Deals getting worse, if they could get any worse. Used to be £25 min, now £30 to get you to buy a load of other overpriced stuff you can get cheaper at High St discount stores.

Fair enough. I’ve used them a couple of times not all stuff is at expiry date. I thought the 1p deals looked good for once given the brands and products. When things are tough right now for a lot of people I thought this might help.

I’ve gave up on them , you can basically buy the same products in Asda/Tesco etc for about the same price….gone are the days of Yankee bundles to the expensive prices of Discount Dragon , I hardly ever look at anything now and they must know that sales are down because of greedy prices.

You would think that sales are down but its like royal mail keep putting the stamp prices up to compensate for people not posting so many letters so keep putting prices up to compensate for !!!! so it goes round

I imagine the new customers who are drawn in buy the 1p offers ,are compensating for the sales missed from the old customers who were use to the old prices who are stopping shopping here

So i assume they are happy with the current sales model and are making enough profit for them to survive with out the old customers

Not sure what their model is now as they just seem to want to alienate any regular customers today i spotted some beer a year out of date 24 @£14.99 which i would have tried before but could not justify it to spend £30 its gone now so some one gave it a try . Also i find royal mail tracking very unreliable with a 12 hour time slot even if they deliver on the right day

A year out of date? I've bought beer from discount dragon plenty of times and never had more than about 3 months, usually still in date albeit just.
