About this deal

fanxiang M.2 SSD 1TB - Up to 7300MB/s, 1TB NVMe SSD 2280 PCIe Gen4x4, with DRAM Cache, PS5 SSD with Heatsink, TLC SSD M2 for Game Enthusiasts and IT Professional (S770)

Spotted that other deal and whilst games will run fine below the recommended spec. It's not guaranteed for the future and no heatsink. If I was looking for one I'd much prefer this considering it's above the speed recommendations, with a heatsink included for the sake of a fiver.

The benefit over the other fanxiang deal and the cheaper S660 is that this one has DRAM.
While that's usually a benefit, it'll mean the drive will run a little hotter (not that much of a big deal in a PS5 as it doesn't really stress the drive except when installing games).

These are better suited as OS drives than the other 2 as well.
It's basically the same drive as the Netac NV7000/Integral Advantage Pro-1/ADATA S70 Blade/Silicon Power XS70, just a different name stuck on it

This is one of the drives I installed in a couple of builds around Christmas, they've been flawless so far. (edited)

A guy posted about them on the other post raving about them and saying there's no difference. And that was one at like 4800mb/sec Personally I'd stick to something more well known. I only posted this as a better option for someone if they were buying that than something under the recommended speed without a heatsink.

I've been using a few Fanxiang nvme drives in my PC and PS5 and they have been great.
